I have been playing football for 3 years now and no serious injuries in the past two. A few days ago i started getting a pain on my left foot about 2-3 inches above the big toe. It hurts the most when I walk up stairs or walk in general. When playing football i dont feel any pain what so ever because my mind is focused on the game. I am a Defensive linemen and i am 6'5" 290 lbs if that helps. There is no bruising or swelling. Please help me!
Can gonorrhea be cured with a special type of athletes foot cream or does it just relieves the symptoms? Because I went to the doctor and my results were positive of having gonorhea from my vaginal exam, I told the doctor that the symptoms only occured outside of my genitals but yet he found the bacteria near my cervix. he gave me an athletes foot cream and told me to apply it twice a day until the syptoms stop then told me I could leave.

This is the most common cause of calf pain in young athletes. I would have another MRI, with dye contrast, from another physician. I would question exactly what part of his body was subjected to the first MRI.
It is inconcievable to me how your son could have been treated by any United States Physician, who would not have ruled out lumbar nerve compression.

s possible it could be caused by athletes foot. The skin around the toes can sometimes split open if left untreated. My ex had this really bad for a while... Do you work somewhere that causes your feet to get wet or sweaty? Moisture is a common source of athletes foot. Try to keep the area clean and dry. Perhaps try a cream or powder for athletes foot. If you still have a problem or if the area becomes red, puffy, warm to touch and/or has pus, see a doctor asap! Good luck!

So, next time this happens, get some vagisil, or athletes foot cream, or PLAIN yogurt. I know the athletes foot cream is odd, but it works better than the vagisil, I've come to notice. Just take the cream or yogurt, put it on your vagina, wear loose underwear with a panty liner or pad, and put some ice on it to help the swelling.
During that time I noticed my foot started to itch and flake a lot but only my right foot.
