Avatar m tn "What I do to redure belly fat and also a bit of tingling I get at my foot " You can start by eating and following a diabetic diet, refrain from drinking unhealthy liquids such as beer and sodas, and perform daily exercise, which doesn't have be "extensive". The latter can be walking, sit-ups, push-ups, aerobic, and yoga like stretches. As far as your foot tingling, without seeing the results of medical evaluation it is difficult to say the cause.

Avatar n tn Take proper foot care like never walk barefooted, keep them dry and covered and avoid any injuries. Take care.
Avatar n tn He said that was probably something I was born with. He said he did not know what was wrong with my foot and sent me to see a foot and ankle specialist. They ordered an ultrasound to rule out blood clots and there were not any. Now the foot and ankle specialist does not know what is wrong with my foot. I am not able to walk much on my foot and I can not put my toes to the floor. When I do walk on it, I have to walk on the side of my foot because the pain is so bad.
Avatar f tn It is advised to consult a primary care physician or an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Meanwhile it is advised to rest the foot and avoid weight bearing. You could also use some OTC NSAIDS for pain relief. Hope this helps. Take care!

Avatar n tn Hi, I have a pain in my right foot. It is on the top of my foot and only last a few seconds then goes away. Seems to happen most when I am relaxed or laying down. I can't recall any injuries, there is no bruising and does not hurt to touch or press. It is quite painful while it's happening and has been going on for the last 3 days. Does anyone know what this might be or how I can stop it from happening?

647391 tn?1275016633 I routinely have blood sugars in the 150 range my A!C has been 7.7 and 8.2. I was suppose to have some foot surgery, but it was cancel because of the A1c. It is the 1st time I was told I couldn't have surgery because of the diabetes. My regular doctor signed off on me having surgery. The foot surgeon wouldn't do it. I just didn't think my blood sugar level was of any concern.
Avatar n tn ve had foot problems for years, and I assume that it is because they were damaged while in the military they used to swell the size of soft ball and a calcaneal fracture in the left foot. This eventually healed after they figured out it was a stress fx. I later continued to get sharp pains in the feet with swelling, but never wanted to complain for fear of having to many medical problems and possibly getting kicked out of the military for it.
Avatar f tn I slept off and on for 36 hrs while getting up to eat what I could. My left foot and ankle have been swelling for about 3 yrs and more so for the last yr as I now sit more at work. This morning I got up to find my left foot, ankle and lower leg with a red rash somewhat raised, and tender. My (Dr.) is an ARNP and has been for around the last 2 yrs. I have asked her about it and the off and on tenderness in my right lower back. She told me to buy compress socks and ordered a urine test.
Avatar f tn I have iced it off and on, and taken a high dose of ibuprofen, to try and cut the inflammation, now day 8 and I am seeing improvement, very little swelling, I am able to bend ankle and wiggle toes some, but limited, and foot is still painful and stiff. I am guessing in the next few days I will be able to gradually work into putting weight on it, as that was the progression I had last time this happened. It came on with no warning, and has been debilitating.
Avatar f tn I also get a throbbing pain along my Left Foot which then travels up my ankle and then sometimes up the back of my leg, it's like my foot is numb but still with some feelings, it's hard to describe but I know my foot just does not feel right. I find it hard to walk properly on my Left Foot as it starts to hurt a lot and I get tired. I feel that I don't have much feeling in my 2 small toes, I also every now and then get a sharp pain in my little toe.
Avatar m tn ll be on crutches for 3-4 months and luckily I have a boot and not a cast. Is all this normal?
Avatar n tn I posted earlier and have gotten an appointment with a DR for next week but after I took a nap today I awoke and had hand pain..and mild pain in my foot earlier in the day..is this a symptom too..
Avatar n tn Other conditions that can cause foot pain include ligament injuries and joint irritation. These problems can also be relieved with more accommodating footwear. Treatment of foot pain often consists of anti-inflammatory medications, footwear modifications, and inserts for your shoes. Metatarsal pads help to take pressure off the ball of the foot. If some simple steps do not alleviate your symptoms, you should see your doctor to ensure you are receiving adequate treatment.
Avatar m tn i find that my left foot feels like ice cubes and my right foot is normal temp. It happens anytime of year...what are the possible causes.
