1388357 tn?1280189493 Hi...I still get the vibration and cramps in my foot...it always seemed to happen when I changed my shoes...one style to another..... I am still having this issue...tho not like b4 as that is the case with many of my symptoms...but I had a month or more of the vibrating, now I have had a few nights of cramps in the arch of my feet. My hands tend to cramp when I hold something too long.....
Avatar f tn my husbands foot always cramps up after we have sex....is there a way to stop this....send me a private messege......
Avatar n tn In the beginning of my running, I was going to physiotherapy because my calf muscles on my right leg were very tight and impeding my running. The physio helped, so I stopped, but continued stretching. Now, after I run about 3km, my right foot starts to tingle, and it goes right up to my thigh to the point that I have to walk it off. Loosening my laces didn't help. For the last 2 days, about 90% of the day I have tingling in my lower leg.
338416 tn?1420045702 s quite foot drop yet, but I certainly have to *think* about lifting my foot up. They make a foot brace that would hold my foot up, but it's plastic and clunky. I don't think I would have started running again if it wasn't for the weight. I get so frustrated, because I'm really trying to restrict my calories, and it doesn't do a bit of good. Working out on the trainer was exercise, but it just wasn't enough. I'm starting to wonder if I have a thyroid problem.
Avatar f tn I gave up all training because the first few weeks I had major fatigue and cramps. Now I am feeling better and the race is Saturday. I was debating on jog/walking it. I've been reading mixed opinions on running that distance during the first trimester. Any suggestions?
Avatar f tn Hi , I have toagree with all others, I have been running 6 miles a day for the last 10 years, after my first IVF, my RE recommended that I should go back to my usual schedule so the day later I went for a walk and did not run but continued with walking 4 miles a day evry day. It was a failed IVF. My next IVF like the other ladies I was on bed rest for 48 hrs and no exercise since then and it worked, I ma now 6 weeks pregnant.
335728 tn?1331414412 It happens when I lift my feet off the floor, when I am lying in bed and the worst is when I am driving I get cramps in the toes on my right foot and it is a little scary...I am afraid that I will lift my foot off the brake or push down on the gas inappropriately when these cramps hit! Any ideas out there?
Avatar f tn Is anyone experiencing foot cramps? My left foot keeps cramping and it hurts for days at a time. Anything to releive the pain?? Thanks in advance!
Avatar m tn I've been having constant foot cramps. Podiatrist recommended some stretches and stuff, but also suggested a thyroid test. FT3 is 3.22 (2.57-4.43) FT4 is 1.17 (0.64-1.77) TSH is 4.24 (0.27-4.2) Anti-Tg is 41.14 (1000 (<5.61) So the TSH is just a hair too high, but the anti-TPO is off the chart. Is there a thyroid problem or not? What does this mean? I've got an appointment with an endocrinologist, but I just want to get ahead of the game.
Avatar f tn I literally lay down with my legs open because I feel he will break the water bag. Then right after I get pelvic cramps . Can this mean it will be soon?
Avatar f tn I honestly have not heard that you can't run. If its mild cramps, that's normal.
Avatar f tn If pain when running occurs when you are running very hard or increasing your speed, this could be a side stitch, according to Cool Running. If the pain subsides when you slow down, this is another sign your pain could be due to a stitch. However, if your pain is accompanied by other abdominal symptoms, such as nausea, diarrhea or vomiting, this could be a sign of abdominal upset, according to the American College of Gastroenterology.
Avatar m tn Another symptom which is less commonly talked about is rt side abdominal cramps while running. I am an experienced and competitive runner and have never had this problem prior to thyroiditis. Blood work and sonography negative for liver pancreas appendix gall bladder. Noticed co2 higher than normal plus elevated ESR C Reactive protein typical of disease. Symptom mgmt was 500 mg motrin and 50 mg atenolol weeks 2 to 3 after onset. Now week 4 no aches and pulse drop to 80.
Avatar f tn I get foot cramps when I lye down and when I drive. I soon as my feet don't touch the ground they curl and hurt a lot. Anybody with that ? please help.
Avatar m tn I have been getting bad cramps that really feel like shooting pain down one vein in my arm, leg, and foot. Is this normal? Does anyone get something like that or just cramps in the arches of your feet? I also get cramps in my knee.
Avatar n tn My mom is in training for a marathon, and had to quit after complaining of severe pain in her hips. She went to the doctor and after bone scans, x-rays, and the like; the doctor said it was burrcitous (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong). At first she thought it was arthritis, but it just kept getting worse. She's not allowed to run anymore.
Avatar f tn I have leg cramps, and foot cramps, and when I tried stirring up amish friendship bread I got cramps in my hands. I don't run, and I'm not on treatments, but I take to diuretics one pottassium sparing and one not. Magnesium helps a little.
Avatar m tn t even stand on my feet after. So i tried running through the pain, all i can do is 10 minutes (1 mile), after 5 straight days of running i noticed this bubble. http://www.mypicx.com/uploadimg/5077939 ... 2010_1.jpg http://www.mypicx.com/uploadimg/1363976 ... 2010_2.jpg Its only noticeable if i bend my toes up. If i extend my foot so my leg is straight you pretty much cant see it aside from a slightly blueish color. There is virtually no pain, at least on in the area where the bubble is.
730826 tn?1317943334 D Im not even really sore, a bit sore on the ball of my foot but thats it. I think Im definitely starting running again. Seeing a group of guys bouncing past us fast like it was no big deal, goofing around and all, really makes me want to be able to run with such ease.
Avatar f tn ) and i do intervals of walking and running, more walking than running usually. a few days ago my left heel started getting very sore during my run and when i got home it was a sizeable water blister, probably from the friction of my sneaker, even tho i was wearing socks. i safely popped the blister with a sterile needle, drained it as much as possible and put a blister treatment pad over it and medical tape.
Avatar f tn I know it's been several years since you posted on this thread but I was wondering if you ever figured out what was causing those pains.. I'm 24 and started experiencing the same menstrual type cramps after running and it is unbearable. I have an appointment with the doctor in a few weeks but I thought id ask to see if you've found out a solution to the problem Thanks!
Avatar n tn If I hold my foot and force it up there, the muscle/tendon going from my shin area to the top of my foot spasms horribly. It subsides after a few hours. I know this probably isn't serious, but I'm just wondering the cause. I'd like to make sure there is no underlying neurological problems I should have looked at. I posted here because I don't like running to the docs everytime I wonder about something.
Avatar f tn So I've been having period like cramps and belly tightening since last night they're very uncomfortable should I go to the hospital?
Avatar m tn ve been training for a 5K and running pretty hard. After about a week of training I started getting bad stomach cramps and the bloody diarrhea came back. The diarrhea is bring red in color and after I go, the next time I have a bowel movement it is still a little red (but more firm), and then back to normal. The stools are normal again until I run really hard. My doctor doesn't know what it is and has referred me to a GI specialist.
