Common Questions and Answers about Foot bones cracking

foot

And my condition doesn't seem to fit of their descriptions. Popping occurs in the entire hand, wrist, foot, and ankle. there is no pain but more of a numbness. My family suggests it is all just " growing pains". But I just don't know. When there's cracking in my fingers I often feel stretched with a light "ache". then 10 minutes later mt fingers & toes are stiff all over again. Also my feet and hands have always been freakishly thin compared to the rest of my body.
im having the same probs guys. cracking bones an joints ard knees, shoulder blades, neck and mid low back. smtimes i felt a warm feeling surrounding my back, gritty sensation in thoracic cavity and slight burning eyes and well as some skin problems inluding itch spot, petechia and visible fine purple capillaries under skin. I was diagnosed with chlamydia 6 months back but was cured after.
And can anxiety cause constant joint popping? I have constant grinding, popping, and cracking sounds in my joints all over my body, especially in my neck, very badly in my shoulders, my back, jaw, elbows, wrists, knees and hips. It does not usually hurt but my muscles and joints hurt and seem to be tense, weak and stiff. Can anxiety cause all of these CONSTANT symptoms? This problem is effecting my life and my relationships and I just want to feel normal and like my old self again.
Hello, My mom was stung by what she believes was a red wing wasp on the top of her left foot, she is allergic, but everything seem okay, just some burning and swelling, well now my mom is feeling severe pain in the foot and she says it feels like the bones are cracking and grinding together! Is this an reaction from the sting, or something else. I do know that my mom has not caused any trauma to her foot at all.
the pain specialist suggested I start a "pain journal" to better understand the cycles of my disorders, Palindromic Arthritis/Lupus/Epilepsy(idiopathic epilepsy I should say) so here goes.... Today I am feeling better than I have been. Writing this and the other posts has hurt my wrists and hands yet it does somehow make me feel better. I have been literally crippled for the last few months but the last 10-12 days has been murder.
It snapped all the way back and I heard a loud cracking sound. It's been 3 days and the swelling and pain have mostly dissipated, however, I still have very low range of movement (about half of normal) and the toe feels very loose at the joint where it connects to the foot. Is it possible that the toe might be "slightly" dislocated, and requires some medical attention? I have no health insurance so I would prefer to let it heal on its own if possible. Thanks!
My vagina feels like its being torn into 2 pieces. More like a bone cracking. What can it be? Am 38-2days ftm. And am having trouble changing sleep positions (rolling over). Its like i've returned to being a kid. Urg pregnancy blues!
A few days later, my ankle hurt so much (felt like the bones were broken), its was fine in the morning. A few days later my right foot was hurting, even the toes...like my bones were being crushed. I have been having random pains in my spine as well. Also, I have had some tingling in my feet, I have had some dizzy spells, have been tired and my joints are popping a lot, every time I move they crack which is odd for me. I am so worried I have cancer in my bones...can anyone give me insight?
I had the pain in my muscles and bones and sometimes my fingers felt like they were broken, and sometimes my bones felt FROZEN, they hurt soooo bad. Doc put me on Plaquenil and it took the pain away almost 90%. It didn't take the heat out of my joints (which I didn't even notice) so doc also put me on methotrexate (chemo), and I feel better. Even if they can't find out what's wrong, ask if you can try plaquenil. If it helps, that's all you need!
Hi Welcome to the forum! cracking and popping sound in joints is made when two bones rub against each other or due to fixated joints. Bones of a fixated joint are temporarily stuck together due to suction force because of a vacuum created between the joints. When this vacuum is broken, we hear a popping sound. This happens when a joint is more mobile than normal, dislocating the fluid between the joint and creating a vacuum. This has a tendency to recur, as is happening in your case.
My feet seem to becoming flat and I have such severe ankle and knee pain that it keeps me awake at night sometimes. I don't know if this is of any concern, but my bones crack really loud and most of the time, really sharp pain shoots through the area that cracked. I am going to try to schedule an appointment with an Orthopedic doctor as soon as possible, but any tips/info would be greatly appreciated! :) If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Thanks!
also wanted to add that joints in my lower body and back are cracking much more now compared to before the injury.
It has been about 3 weeks now and I can say it seems my hands are getting better but everytime I look at them I can't tell and they are still cracking in spots and extremely painful. Looking online for pictures that looked like my hands I came across something that said dyphrodotic eczema or something like that. I know that one of the causes is from metal implants. With my second surgery the doctor did screw a metal plate to my bones for stability.
I have a spiral fibula fracture. I could not put my foot in walking position. My lower left leg was casted for the first two weeks and I was no weight bearing. Doctor told me at the end of the two weeks I would get a walking cast. During that time the pain was terrible. I passed out because of the pain. At the two weeks, I visited my doctor and he said looks good see you in four weeks and I was still no weight bearing. No explanation.
I have had migratory bone/joint pains, fatigue, extreme joint cracking, lower back pain and now musle twitches in my body. I have had loads of blood work (just did labs for PT), Brain and lower spine MRI, a bone scan of my entire body (not sure if it tested density though) and ab ultra sound--all okay Can you describe your symptoms? Do mine sound similiar?
Sometimes it's almost a burning/tingle/itch feeling, other times more of a numbness or paresthesia. No visible swelling or discoloration, but I do have cracking of the bones in my feet and knees (not really in my hands). I have been diagnosed with anxiety in the past - took Wellbutrin for about a year in 2003/2004 then went off of it. Part of be believes the tingling to be associated with that (perhaps augmented by carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands) but I worry about things like MS...
When I was around 18 I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in my left knee, but now I'm almost 25 and I am having a lot more bone pain but the most extreme is my knees but now I have the same pain, popping, cracking in my hips, ankles, wrists, lower ribcages with a bump on the right, shoulder blades, neck, spine, and my tailbone hurts pretty bad as well, oh and the bone in the side of my foot.. i haven't been back to a specialists since the diagnosis and I have no insurance.
A few days after the pains started I began getting vibrating in my right foot on and off. Now, its my left foot that vibrates on and off and also tingles. For 2 months I have had twitches and they are all over my body just like my pains. I feel like a popcorn machine-the twitches are everywhere. Oh, at the onset of all of this I noticed EXTREME joint cracking-still have that, everywhere. Last week my pointer finger when kinda numb for 2 days.
Well, I do belive they can help after and accident when bones are out of place. But chiari as with club foot is a congenital condition, both involving malformation of boney structure. It can not be manipulated back into place. Relief of the pain by means of the nerves.... perhaps. Don't mean to step on any toes here, and I"m sorry if this note has.... but I would hate to see you end up with more pain. Please feel this one through.
I have blood spots coming up under the skin everywhere my bones are cracking with every move I make and I am so weak I can't hardly move. I can not forget the chronic fatigue that I have had for 2 years. I'll I want to do is go to bed. This is very hard on my husband and 2 children. If the want to see mom they know its going to be at the foot of my bed.
My right ankle hurts the most and it has been the ankle that I have sprained the worse. I don't know if it has any thing to do with the pain, but my bones have been cracking really loud pretty much every time I bend or move into a different position. With that, I sometimes get sharp stabbing pain shoots through the area that cracked. I'm only 17 yrs old almost 18 on April 22nd, and I was wondering if I should be concerned about this. I believe that it is my ankles that crack the worse.
I saw a chiropractor last week and loved him. He specializes in gentle adjustments (no neck cracking, back snapping type of stuff). I felt alot better when I left but almost a week later and I am right back where I started from. these "episodes" prevent me from enjoying life. I want to believe that spinal misalignment can cause many weird, vague symptoms like the ones I experience but I don't know what to believe anymore.
Something keeps popping and cracking in my ankle and foot and when I knee on my knee, my knee hurts so bad. It feels like something is poking at my knee joint or something. I have no idea what it is.
When I have landed though I have ended up stepping on another student's foot, due to them getting way too close, and after stepping on their foot somehow I have ended twisting my ankle really bad. My right foot literally bent completely to the right with a loud crack. Pain shot through my leg really badly, I thought that it was broke!!! I tried to place my leg back on the ground but it hurt way too bad to place any weight on it. the student said that he was sorry, and I think that he truly was.
the next day I had pain in my right foot and toes, felt like they were being crushed...an hr later I was fine. Well now I get pains all over my body-mainly ankles, fingers, spine, shins. At the onest of this pain I started getting EXTREME joint cracking. Now the past 1.5 months I have had muscle twitching all over my body non stop. I have had a full body bone scan, MRI of head and lower spine (oh I am tender on my spine where my bra strap hits), tons of blood work-all okay.
really my husband is an *** and I was always very active before lyme and still do what I can except on really bad days but it is very painful the stabbing pain in your body is unrelenting and when I move my bones sound like they are cracking. my memory is horrible I am struggling to stay in college, ( I am 26) I also develped a heart condition called IST from Lyme and twitching and my spine hurts...and every day can be different but you are always in pain!
( continued from my last post....) also my bones were cracking at every movement. not really painful but not pleasant either, my hands, legs, feet, pelvis, back, chest cracked and popped. awful.
I'm writing to address your symptoms and offer a possible answer. For the past year I've had twitching in my left calf and it progressed to both calves, then a few twitches here & there on my body and then a few twitches on my face, cheek and mouth area. This fall I started aching in my thighs, other large muscle groups, and having muscle fatigue. My bones even started to feel brittle or like they were "cracking". I was quite concerned as my father died of ALS.
First I am a 34yo male who has been "diagnosed" with palindromic rheumitism. I am on a list of meds such as indomethicin, tramadol, prednisone, and oxycodone. For what is almost 3 years now I have been dealing with muscle and joints pains, mostly muscle. I get a great deal of swelling to my left hand, wrist, forarm, ankle and foot. I do not swell on the right but I do "cripple" up from time to time for a few seconds on the right side.
I cant stand for long periods of time, sometimes I get joint pain and all my bones crack constantly. I had knee surgery for a torn menisucus which just seemed to "happen" and during the surgery the dr found a arthritic bone spur which he had to shave down. He said it was strange because I was so young. (i was 28 at the time.) My legs always feel like Ive run a marathon and I have absolutely no energy. Im so frustrated! I ve even had one Dr.
