weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!

My ct scan was more inclusive as it took images of the lungs, heart and thorax. It showed the complete anatomy of the heart vessels that included any soft plaque within the lining of the vessel. The ct software scored the soft plaque and evaluated the risk of a rupture. It also discloses any hard plaque within the lumen (vessel channel).
The cath views the lumen for plaque, and has the ability to determine gradient pressures of chambers and vessels...
So I woke up this morning and my left eye has all sorts of busted blood vessels in it?!?! When I looked in the mirror my thought was WTF is this mess lol. I didn't do anything to it, haven't been getting sick to cause it, haven't rubbed it...has anyone else had this? I'm 30+2...it's sore and if I shut my right eye it's kinda blurry.
But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. I looked up pics of the girl anatomy and none of the pics I seen looked anything like what she showed us. Idk she's the tech I guess but now I gotta wait and see if my doctor will want to take out the ultrasound machine at my next appointment and see if she can get our little love to open his/her legs.
I am 23 years old and have asked in my age group to talk with someone else whos baby has been diagnosed with club foot, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone here is going through what I am?
I am now having issues with part of the bottom of my foot, including the ball of my foot and all my toes except the last three. When I move my foot, it feels like it has been asleep with the tingling, like pins and needles, and I cant go without shoes on that foot, I cant wear sandals, and when I do try to go without shoes on, the heal of my foot feels like the bone is going thru my foot. When I relax of an evening, my foot has like muscle spasms.
Well it keeps me semi awake. Today I gave up after just three hours of tossing and realized that only my Right foot was cold. I have back problems so maybe it's associated with that. I hope that I'm not starting to show the symptoms of MS because my Neuro seems adamant that my veins are associated with my headaches or vice versa. Sorry to babble on. I wish the best to everyone.
at 20 week anatomy scan what all things they would check..will they do vaginal scanning..do i have to go with my bladder full?my doc just told me that it would be a detailed scanning and a specialist will be doing it...
A cath angiogram does not show the risk, but a CT scan 64 slice can/will evaluate the anatomy of vessels for the risk of a heart attack from that source (many more attacks from rupture than occluded vessels).

Hi I injured my Left Foot at work about 2 weeks ago I've been for a x-ray & scan both came back clear but I have been experiencing Pins and Needles along my toes mainly the big toe, I can not bend my little toe or the one next to it I also have trouble bending the other 3.
The 10% refers to the heart's ejection fraction (EF). Meaning the heart is pumping into circulation 10% of the filled chamber with each heartbeat. Normal is 55 to 75% and below 29% is considered heart failure (the heart is unable to meet the system's demand for blood/oxygen. With an EF below 29%, sometimes the oxygenated blood backs up into the lungs causing pulmonary edema.
The prognosis depends on the underlying cause for the low EF.

First, I think you should see a cardiologist, describe what happened after seeing the chiropractor, and ask for a Holter monitor. This is something you wear like a small cross-chest purse that records your heart's activity for 24 hours--at a minimum. It can be worn for longer, but if your problem occurs whenever you sit, the monitor should catch several of these episodes in a 24 hour period. That should tell your cardiologist more than would be possible in an ER visit.
I had a skin discoloration in my left foot nearly 10 years back.There was a red patch that soon spread to other parts of my leg.There is no itching however.I was told that this is schaum's disease and it was caused by iron oozing from the blood vessels on to skin.Now I noticed that this patch is appearing on my right foot also.

CT 64 slice scan angiogram will include the anatomy of the vessels, chest, and aorta vessel (ascending, arch and descending). The scan will show any layers of soft plaque outside the lumen, and it is the soft plaque that has a higher risk of rupturing, clotting and causing an MI. The scan and stress test are about equal in determing the plaque within the lumen that may cause ischemia (blocked, partially blocked vessels.
I had an intial injury to my right foot in April 2010. The injury was sudden and not the product of a determined source (i.e. impact, rolling, twisting). I have numbness in the left foot and left buttock. Left hand and left arm are only 80% as sensitive (to touch or scratch) as right hand and right arm.
Numbness of left foot centers around the toes. As for the left buttock, numbness is felt, when I sit (When I drive, I have to sit on the right buttock).
My taller baby would do that to me. It always felt like she was doing yoga in there. when I went in for anatomy scan she was sucking her toes. It's probably just baby's foot.
However since surgery my foot has been incredibly painful,

I kept waking up faint and then my right foot felt like it had a weight on it. It was numb.. idk if thats any signs for anything but i have my doctors appointment tomorrow. I should just let him know..
