Avatar f tn I have the midway anatomy ultrasound tomorrow where they check that everything is okay in there and growing normally and tell you the gender. I was wondering what I should expect and how long the appointment is?
Avatar f tn But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. I looked up pics of the girl anatomy and none of the pics I seen looked anything like what she showed us. Idk she's the tech I guess but now I gotta wait and see if my doctor will want to take out the ultrasound machine at my next appointment and see if she can get our little love to open his/her legs.
Avatar f tn you are not silly...images are still images it could be that the baby was moving around and this is what the tech caught....im sure if there was an issue your doc would have said something did you get your anatomy/ level 2 u/s done yet?
Avatar f tn Absolutely! I've been to two for baby anatomy and you can definitely see features on the black and white images. The tech talked us through it. So neat!
Avatar m tn you can try to combine it - I mean while being turned on by foot divide your attention between foot images and classic images. Seems like behavioral conditioning:). For example if you watch some porn, try to find something where foot fetish is presented together with something else (e.g. vaginal intercourse, oral sex or anything which you might like but not so much as foot).
Avatar f tn So I go to the Dr 2mar to get my anatomy done...what exactly is an anatomy and what will they do. ..yeah I'm a Lil on the nervous side..
Avatar f tn I have had a ct scan angiogram and cath. My ct scan was more inclusive as it took images of the lungs, heart and thorax. It showed the complete anatomy of the heart vessels that included any soft plaque within the lining of the vessel. The ct software scored the soft plaque and evaluated the risk of a rupture. It also discloses any hard plaque within the lumen (vessel channel). The cath views the lumen for plaque, and has the ability to determine gradient pressures of chambers and vessels..
Avatar f tn The tectal plate and inferior pineal are diffusely enlarged, and increased in signal on FLAIR/ T2 images, decreased in signal on T1 precontrast images. No appreciable enhancement on the postcontrast T1 weighted images. Findings are worrisome for tectal glioma measuring 1.9 cm(craniocaudad) by 0.7 cm (AP) by 1.0 cm (transverse). This finding is best shown on axial images 8-15. Other considerations include a PNET, ganglioglioma, ependymoma, or primary pineal tumor.
Avatar f tn What is adjusted is how much time the machine waits after injection to obtain images. The protocol selected depends upon the clinical indication. In most cases for body CT, the images are obtained during the venous phase. However, there are some exceptions, with representative scenarios as follows: If the study indication is to rule out aortic aneurysm or dissection, the images will be obtained when the most contrast is in the aorta/arteries.
Avatar f tn I am 23 years old and have asked in my age group to talk with someone else whos baby has been diagnosed with club foot, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone here is going through what I am?
Avatar m tn I had pain in the second toe which I think is causing pain at the ball of the foot too. I went to an orthopedic and he recommend an MRI as the XRay didnt show anything. I was asked to wear a custom made orthotics with a metatarsal pad but that does not seem to helping in relieving the pain either. What can i do to heal the foot? Below is the MRI report.
140844 tn?1204941653 Hi everyone, I just received a phone call from the doctor's office and they want me to go get an ultrasound again because they were not able to get all the images they needed of the baby's heart. This has me a bit worried. I asked the nurse if it was something bad, but she just said that they were not able to get the images during the time allocated for the ultrasound.
Avatar f tn weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!
Avatar m tn The best advise is to go over the images with your doctor. I try not to look at my own images since I tend to see things that are not there or are just normal anatomy.
Avatar f tn I am now having issues with part of the bottom of my foot, including the ball of my foot and all my toes except the last three. When I move my foot, it feels like it has been asleep with the tingling, like pins and needles, and I cant go without shoes on that foot, I cant wear sandals, and when I do try to go without shoes on, the heal of my foot feels like the bone is going thru my foot. When I relax of an evening, my foot has like muscle spasms.
11715504 tn?1422286415 So since I start my new job Thursday I called my doctor to see if I can do my anatomy scan at 19 weeks and maybe 3 days and the stupid nurse said it won't be accurate and they will ask me to come in again. A lot off women knew at 18 weeks and fewer than that.
Avatar f tn Plus I keep teetering over, and walking into things and stubbing my toes, which was kinda painful one nite when I hit it so hard, I now have a neuroma in my foot, and I have that strange uncontrollable loud sigh/gasp thing going on all day. would this lesion account for any of these sx? If so, what do you think my neuro is gonna say to my when I see him in two weeks(he's on vaca). Will he be able to give me some kind of dx, or will he say, this is nothing, we will wait and see? Oh!
Avatar f tn A CT scan 64-slice angiograph images the complete anatomy of the vessels, etc. Segments are scored for calcium (soft plaque between inner and outer lining) as well as the lumen (vessel cavity) that is evaluated with the stress test. Images at different angles of the vessel are taken and with the equipment software the images are compiled into a 3-D format. The degree of soft plaque is quantified within the 4 major ateries and given a nurmerical score that the medical profession evaluates.
1749417 tn?1331996992 The problem is that no one can really read JPG images. MRI images have to be windowed and leveled in a DICOM viewer. Many people think they see UBOs, but most of the time, the "bright white" objects are normal anatomy. Finding the lighter "smudges" in the white matter areas of the brain is like hunting for Waldo. Once you MRI is read, we may be able to help translate it into something that looks like English.
277836 tn?1359666174 Went back to my opthomologist on Monday. I have been having ghost images since November this all started after I had foot surgery. Anyway my eye prescription he did not change even though at a distance with the glasses they are blurry. He did however get the right prescription with the eye exam but he went into a long story on how my eyes will eventually adjust to this prescription?? Also he could not find a cause to what is causing my ghost images in my vision with both eyes.
Avatar m tn The ct scan 64/128 slice takes images of the anatomy of the vessels and reveals soft plaque, and soft plaque has the highest risk for heart attack (myocardial infarction) and sudden death. If and when soft plaque ruptures the lining of the vessel, it will form a clot that can break away totally blocking the vessel. The ct scan evaluates a prognosis based on calcium count in the 4 major arteries and a total count.
Avatar f tn Don't worry! I went at 18 weeks for my anatomy scan and had been called back cause they needed a better look at her kidneys. If everything else came back normal, try not to worry.
