194838 tn?1303428544 It may sound stupid but I am a little scared to take Galvus after what happened before. I am taking Glucophage and my GP has added Galvus as my blood sugar is not yet controlled. Did anybody gain or lose weight while on Galvus?. Sorry so many questions but Im feeling anxious about this. Thankyou in advance to anybody who can answer and give me any advise.

Doc thought I would do better with this drug. I have only one kidney so was prescribed a 50mg dose. Will it regulate after I have been on for awhile?

I am from the UK and wonder if there is a conversion chart because I think it would be more beneficial if I could compare with others on the forum to get a sense of how im doing for comparison, Any advise would be greatly appreciated .

All tests says I am not having a heart attack, but with my blood pressure being high it is making my left side of my heart to struggle and causing my heart walls to thicken.. Other factors you can control blood sugar with as a type 2 include exercise, lowering carb intake and weight loss if needed. Do you have lows that make your blood sugar average out to 6.2? There is a forumula that shows what average blood sugars are for each A1C but I can't find it at the moment. I would try the other things I mention before adding another med.
