I don very well with the HFA versions. If you were on a dry powder, you might have been having problems with the milk by products in them keeping your peak flow down. My guess would be that your current phlegm problem is from the inflammation and asthma even though your peak flows are improving. I noticed that there is a small patch on my left chin, where beard is scanty. It is not completely gone but the hair is scanty and the patch is obvious. I went to my dermatologist and he told me it is Alopecia Areata, though it could be in "initial stages" and it is "too hard to say anything". He told me to apply fluticasone cream twice a day, for a month. And if the hair doesn't grow back, he will give me steroid injections. Should I get those injections?

thank you so much i have the rescue one xopenex hfa says its levalbuterol. than i have one for night its a powder its asmanex . i have been like this now for 2 months it seems to get better than last night it was not bad but woke me up at 1 could not sleep for coughing and wheezing and scared i was going have a bad attack and die from it , so i need the inhaler just to scared to take it. so are these ok or will the xop cause the heart speed. thank you so much.

i went to the same doc again he gave me steroid cream Fluticasone propionate to be applied for two months from now on!! It is used to treat secondary infection..!! The reddish rashes disappears when i apply Fluticasone propionate cream continuosly!! if i discontinue the cream! then the reddish rashes are occuring!!

Hi, welcome to the forum, these drugs like Albuterol and fluticasone do not interfere much with the cardiac activity. Albuterol predominantly acts on respiratory bronchioles but has a little action over heart. Hence, it should be cautiously used in him; these may cause elevation in blood pressure, heart rate and result in CNS stimulation/excitation. Albuterol may also increase risk of arrhythmias. Such effects are quiet negligible when given by inhalational route.

My ENT has me using Fluticasone, but no other suggestions. I am hearing whistling in my ears when I talk. Feels like I need to pop my ears.

The ENT prescribed fluticasone propionate which I have not used until now because I'm concern about the side effects. My question is can the ear popping resolve by itself ?? Without using fluticasone propionate ? Or complications might happen like ear infection if I don't use fluticasone propionate ?
