l was prescribed Fluconazole by my doctor, there are 3 pink tables(pills). Both, my OB/GYN and the pharmacist doctor said they are safe for third trimester pregnancy. l'm 37 weeks. Started taking them at 36 weeks.

There are no known interactions between fluconazole and propranolol, so you can safely take them together.

Has anyone ever taken fluconazole? It's a tablet you take (only one) for yeast infection. My pharmacist said it's not for pregnant women but when I called the doc and told him what the pharmacist said he said it was ok to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this? I'm worried.

Well I'm 33 year old male, about 2 months ago I started feeling nausea after eating food since then I've been having bouts of constipation and on and off diaria and then I feel normal for a few days and then it starts all over again, I Also feel chills when I get the diaria symptoms and hot flashes and another weird thing has been happening my anus itches uncontrolebly, this is really ruining my life I went to the doctor and they did the h.
Very high fibre, mostly vegetarian. I don't eat sweet food like desserts, muffins, chocolate, ice-cream (except for special occasions) but I do drink Vitamin Water which is 5% sugar.
Right now I feel sore and dead down there. Before this thrush came along, I wanted to have sex with my boyfriend all the time which enhanced our relationship. Now, I never want to and we haven't had sex for two weeks.
Anyone ever take fluconazole 150mg oral pill for a yeast infection in their first trimester. I phoned a pharmacist and he said it was fine and all the research I've done says as long as it's not in high doses the baby should be ok, but I am having some major anxiety.
but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???
Based off the symptoms I was having they told me that I had a yeast infection-(I had one about three months ago). They prescribed me fluconazole. I took it and felt better, but went back into my gynecologist for a follow up on Thursday(my symptoms were almost completely gone at this point.) They took a swab and said it the results said no it wasn’t a yeast infection, but she said yes she was sure I had had one. I took she told me to take the second dose of fluconazole, which I did that day.
He is Rxing fluconazole for 6 weeks, one tab a day, 100mg. Is this safe? I am healthy for the most part, 40 yr old female with Hashimoto's. My main symptom is chronic stomach bloating. He is doing an ultrsound and x-ray of abdomen as well but wanted to get advice on this long term use of fluconazole. Thank you for your time.
Does not work in many, fluconazole. Your doc may put you on terbinafine, or griseofulvin for best results.
Sure, it is safe to take. I personally like the one day Monostat ovules for yeast infections but fluconazole works really great. Hope it clears it up quickly!

Not one of them can offer me any advice on how to rid myself of this painful illness, except for advising me to use antifungals on a regular basis. I find that fluconazole (Diflucan) works better than any of the others I've tried except Mycelex troches (which helps somewhat). In spite of trying yogurt, lactobacillus pills, caprylic acid, and eating less sugary food, and taking 150 mg of fluconazole daily for a over a week, the infection always returns.
I've taken Clindamycin and fluconazole to kill a yeast infection. But now my doctor tells me I might possibly get it back because antibiotics can cause yeast infections. I'm not even sure...

A month ago I self diagnosed and treated a yeast infection based on my previous yeast infection (diagnosed by a doctor a few years ago). I treated with Monistat (miconazole)cream, which mostly cleared up my symptoms. I still felt somewhat irritated down there so I went to the doctor. She took a swab sample that came back negative for yeast/bacteria/gonorrhea/chlamydia.I felt fine for 2 weeks, then felt intense burning during intercourse . A few days after that, the itch was back.
The other thing that will help you is to brush your tongue with a paste made of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide food grade 3% and a few drops of tea tree oil, using the flip side of a tooth brush made for this purpose.
Go side to side starting from the back and do it every time you brush your teeth. It only takes a minute. You should experience results very fast.
Now at the same time i got a fungal infection in my Groin that is not going away. This time my mouth started to bother me , started with my tongue then i got sores in my mouth last only a day or two then my submental lymph nodes under chin started to ache with some gum aches and the aches are not bad.... when to dentist, ENT said everything is looking fine...
I’m a 20 year old female, and I have been dealing with tinea versicolor for going on 7 months. I’ve tried the shampoos and my doctor has prescribed me multiple rounds of fluconazole (spaced out between rounds) the rash went away after awhile, but I was not using the shampoo (I was using a natural soap on Amazon for tinea versicolor). Sadly, the rash came back after a month or so. I never stopped using that exact same soap, and I would shower normally 2-3 times a day (because I work out).
m a 25 year old male, and I believe that in December I have caught some kind of a yeast (or bacterial?) infection after repeatedly having protected sex with a 21 year old female (we were seeing each other regularly during December) — it first started affecting my balls and then in mid-January the irritation seemed to have moved more to the penis.
