I was wondering where the best place for me would be to find a complete list of medicines I should stay away from with Long QT syndrome. I have a list but it is over 5 years old, and I am in need of a new one! Thank You!
Thank you for your time. I am a 50 year old male with a persistent fungal grow that is controlled by antifungals until I grow a mustache. Then it is unresponsive to antifungals. I have tried the following, which have controlled it when I shave daily. Econozole 1% Trincinolone Acetonide .1%, Nystatin, and Tolnaftate. My last Dermatologist suggested I forgo growing a mustache. This has been a continual problem for two years.
It was all I could think about while flying back home. Then the stress really hit me hard for the next week before I did more research on the web and saw that some people have allergic reactions to N-9. I did the spit test at home and it definitely showed signs of a positive yeast infection. Therefore I used monistat and it helped but did not cure altogether. I went to the dr and was tested for the usual STD's and they all came back negative.
Hello, I have a small yeast infection on my Penis. I had it once and I took a fluconazole pill and Nysatin cream and it went away. Like 3 months later I had intercourse with my wife and she gave it to me again. I took the same medicine but only this time it isn't going away. I have tried several creams and also wash my penus 2 times a day with Water/Apple Cider Vinegar and nothing. I have gone to 3 docs and they say they can't see anything and that I exagerte.
Hi, Well for starters, I am a 20 year old male. I know this is the Women's Health forum, but I've found it increasingly difficult to find other men who have experienced genital recurring yeast infections. I was wondering if anyone who has had experience with such things have any good suggestions on how to cure and prevent recurring yeast infections?
So, it healed and then went away for 2 more weeks. Then small reddish dots appeared and a full fledged small red soar appeared (just like a canker sore or zit). It looks (based on internet pictures) Herpes, Yeast Infection or Syphilis. I have not had any discharge or symptoms other than the itching/burning and muscle aches. In this second "episode" I am much more achy and the infection does seem to be going down but its still annoying and stingy.
We stopped the DH this morning and I am now on fluconazole (for the yeast infection) and hydrocodone (for the pain). He said I should notice a change within 4-5 days. I have a 9 day supply. He said if it does not look better by Friday to come in. Change underwear twice a day. Ensure that I am thoroughly dry after I shower. He said that if I can stand it to use the monistat as well. We will see what happens.
I can understand your concern for the colorless and odorless discharge on account of unprotected oral sex. The normal PSA levels for males less than 50 years of age is 2.5 and hence your PSA levels are absolutely normal. This rules out any prostatic infection. Colorless and odorless discharge from penis is usually caused by normal prostatic discharge which can be unprovoked or due to urethritis and prostate infection.
Went to a urologist - he has given anti-fungal (fluconazole) and an antibiotic (Cefuroxime axetil). He has asked to be ready for a circumcision. I'll try for few days and see where it is going. He has asked to get blood sugar tests to be done before deciding on medical procedure.
I went to my primary doctor 10 days after and she put me on fluconazole for a yeast infection. It's been almost 20 days since I had protected sex, but still scared about herpes. I don't have any lesions, however, I do have genital warts which I've treated a few months ago that didn't go away because I didn't use medicine all the way, and it looks like I have another genital wart, because it is raised, but tiny above the skin near the base. Would I have seen signs of herpes by now?
chronic fungal infections are a real issue for males especially. this is not related at all to herpes.
After reading your query, I can make out that you are quite stressed regarding the problem over your penile skin. Any problem over genital region is definitely a thing of concern for all the males. As I read your query thoroughly and saw all the pictures, (especially health1-1) makes the best possibility of "Candidal balanoposthitis". It starts as mild burning sensation followed by redness and later on whitish flakes over the skin.
krim: Your clinic provider is just plain wrong about 4 and 6 week testing. Search this forum for "time to positive HIV test" for literally hours of discussion. Also search for "HIV transmission risk" and "vaginal sex" for extended information about the low risk of the exposures you describe. Also look for "ARS symptoms". In North America, HIV infection is not common in most commercial sex workers. Many (most?
At the pharmacy (in Mexico) they gave me Ketoconazole cream and tablets, which I later learned that it was for yeast infections. As soon as I got back to the US, I went to see a doctor, and she prescribed Levaquin 500mg and Doxycyl HYC 100mg oral tablets for a possible infection. She also ordered some blood and urine tests to test for possible stds, but I won't have the results until a couple more days.
They tested me for a yeast infection and it came back positive...ive never had one of these...they gave me 1 pill --fluconazole 150MG and a creme for all of the other things (redness, itching, etc.) They also tested me for genital herpes even thought the nurse said she doubted very seriously that i had it because she'd never saw genital herpes look like that its always much worse.
I also wake with watery eyes, sinus congestion, white stuff on corners of mouth every day since exposure. I have taken multiple STD panels for every STD HIV, syphilis, goon, chylmedia, hep, and herpes at 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 3 months all neg. I even followed up with an HIV and syphilis at 4.5 months and was neg. I did receive treatment for the possible bacterial infections STD given z pack, doxy, ofoflax, uribel and something for trich. My neuro said it's probably a unknown virus.
I'm a 60 year old men, in excellent health, except for experiencing tremors during sleep that wake me up and have difficulty going back to sleep. As I start to fall sleep again, I feel these "rumbleling" (tremors) around my upper body. I immediately wake up again. These tremors last for about 10-15 seconds after I wake up. The first time I experienced this condition was exactly two years ago. It lasted for about four days and it simply went away.
Or could it be from the yeast and BV. I could have had BV for months, because I never got tested for it until recently and have had multiple issues with my vagina for atleast 4 months! Burning, itching, discharge, taste bud looking bump that just disappeared out of no where one day like it fell off, irritation on certain spots for a day or two, it's been a horrible experience!!
Hello, Thanks for any help anyone has to offer. I've been suffering from an inflammed and irritated meatus for just over seven weeks now and I'm really confused as to what's causing it or how to fix it. I'm in a foreign country at the moment so access to healthcare and consequently explaining my problem in a foreign language hasn't been the easiest. For that reason, I'm writing here to see if anyone could lend some advice.

Apologiies in advance for this crazily long post- perhaps if I had forced my pharmacist to read all of this, he might have actually been helpful..... For the last few weeks I have been suffering from incredibly sensitive eyes/eyelids which are red, dry and sore, similar to sunburn. I initially thought it was because of some cheap make-up remover wipes that I used to take off my mascara.
looking substance called keratin. They may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. A cutaneous horn is a conical projection above the surface of the skin that resembles a miniature horn. Cutaneous horns usually are asymptomatic. But sometimes they can become inflamed and cause pain. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.
I am 36 years old and have had the same partner (faithfully) for 11 years. About 10 years about I started having these sores develop in my vaginal region. They almost looked like little blisters. I will just call them Vaginal lesions. When they are about to show up the area will start to itch and burn slightly. Then the vaginal lesion arrives there is considerable pain. It will last for about a week then go away.
Occasionally I will also feel the cramping when I get sexually excited. It doesn't last for too long, a few minutes at most but I was curious if anyone else had experienced something like this. Thank you for your feedback.
I found a person on the MSN body odor support forum who had a bad odor for a long time and then the odor went away after being treated for H. Pylori, but then the coughing and sneezing started after that. Interesting. Another person on the MSN board said he was also treated for H. Pylori and then the coughing/sneezing started! Question: Do any of you burp a lot? Here is a thread that should be read: http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=561071#i Read the replies to that link also.
