Hi, I'm using flonase for my allergies. Im also symtomatic with ocational sob and dizziness. I suspect my some prolonged pr interval on my ECG for my dizziness and shortness of breath. I also suspect my minimal valve insufficiency. When I used flonase just the other day I got short of breath and struggle to breath properly. I heard that this medication might containe epinephrine. My question is can using flonase regularly cause a negative reaction to my heart?

Finally got to see my regular doc and they said my eustachian tube was probably blocked and told me to take regular Claritin and flonase for 2 weeks. It has been over 2 weeks and I'm still experiencing the dizziness, although not as bad, but still notice it when moving around, not when I'm sitting still. The regular doc doesn't seem to know and I've asked to be referred to an ENT.

Lysol spray (and similar products) can cause many problems with your ears, nose, and throat... including frequent ear infections and congestion. Hope you are feeling better soon!
Is it possible that I have ETD from that flight, and if so, can ETD cause chronic dizziness like this? I've tried flonase and saline rinses, but the dizziness remains. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
A year ago, after a cold, my ear was clogged for over a month affecting my hearing and my balance slightly --I saw my primary who prescribed flonase and spoke with a pulmonologist at worked who recommended sudafed (which is i think what finally cleared it). What do you think caused this "dizziness"? It was an awful and scary feeling. And/or what can I do to prevent it?
In May I began to have dizzy spells which coincided with a sore throat and earache, which cleared up on their own. however, dizziness and fatigue continued for several weeks. The dizziness resembled being carsick, with lightheadedness and occasional moments of nausea and feeling faint (but I never passed out). I had a CAT scan and blood work twice, and so far no diagnosis for the dizziness/fatigue.
she thought the dizziness was a result of congestion putting pressure on my skull and inner and middle ear. she listened to my heartbeat and apparantly heard nothing unusual because she didnt bring it up. my blood pressure was okay. i didnt have a temperature. she prescribed me claritin, flonase, and singulair. they help the symptoms a bit but i still get those spooky dizzy spells, sometimes even waking up in the middle of the night to them. i also still get a lot of crackling in my ear.
Early part of last year I was having stomach problems and was switched from 20 mg daily of Prilosec to 40 mg and then to 60 mg of Dexilant and than to 60 mg of Nexium and then back to 20 mg of Prilosec. Then in September of last year I had an attack - broke out in a sweat, difficulty breathing, had high tropinin levels which could have meant a heart attack. Testing showed no on the heart attack. A few weeks later I had a similar attack, difficulty breathing with a thick gunk in my throat.
For the past two months I have been experiencing chronic tension above and around my temples, around and behind my eyes, and at the base of my skull, most prevalently while driving, walking, or talking; and a stiff neck. This is accompanied by dizziness and a feeling like I'm always on a boat.
As of two weeks ago the Dr says my ears are clear and clean and I have also been on two rounds of antibiotics since she was thinking it may be due to inner sinus trouble that she can not see evidence of physically and have been taking decongestant along with flonase a few times a day. Nothing has helped any of my symptoms. I am running out of reasons and answers. Do you have any advise??
I called the doc last week after trying a course of decongestants without luck and she prescribed flonase. Still no better today, still dizzy and have opaque fluid in my ears (as can be seen by an otoscope). I have been doing VRT for three weeks due to the dizziness, but without any results. I would like to call my doc again, but at this point I do not even know what can be done. I tried to get in with an ENT, but am looking at a three month wait at this point.
I've struggled with anxiety for most of my life, but the dizziness and sea legs were new to me. I think we become so familiar with our panic/anxiety attacks so when something new comes along, it is very scary.
It seems I have some form of sinusitis that has been causing all of my symptoms (and the corresponding extreme anxiety). I just went out and got flonase and some hardcore antibiotics. I will keep you posted as things develop - hopefully my symptoms will recede over the next few days.
I have pain in the left ear, neck and shoulder, dizziness and fogginess and somtimes feel like I am going to pass out. I am now thinking that for me it may be psycological, because if I get a little depressed and dont keep busy my symptoms worsen. I am going to see a neuroligist and see if they may have a solution to the problem. Warm compress and flonase seem to help me somtimes when my left nostril feels clogged. Exersise and keep busyalso help.
I use meclazine for dizziness, small amounts of predisome, rest, and flonase. Viruses are tricky lil fellows, and cause a lot of symptoms and distress in your life! AND are difficult to diagnose because they mutate, act differently with different people....
Once I completed the round, the blurred vision, and head pressure came back.. I have been using Alavert D12 and flonase for past week. Just recently, have had vision issues again and dizziness. I cannot even ride in the car, I get like- car sick, too much motion. Then I feel panicky, because my head is not clear and the ENT office states that dizziness is normal. I am now starting to feel pressure on left ear, and I just do not want to have surgery.
I had intense abdominal pain and diarrhea for 3 years and the doctors said it was IBS and even suggested anti-depressants. Only when it collapsed and I couldn’t function anymore did they consider testing for anything else.
seems to think its Sinusitis but I have a gut feeling its not - I was put on Antibiotics for a week and given tablets to help with the dizziness and surprise surprise they had NO effect at all :(
I found out that I have Migraine and Vertigo. I rarely have headaches, mainly dizziness and foggy feeling. I ended up going to a doctor that my ENT sent me to. It was a clinic for hearing & balance. They did an "audio VNG". It is about a 2 hour long series of tests that can narrow down the reasons for the dizziness. It will check for inner ear problems, etc. The tests are pretty intense and make you dizzy on purpose while they put goggles on your eyes that have cameras inside.
I generally take flonase. About a week ago the allergies and sinuses really got a hold of me and i had horrible sinus pressure, felt really spacey, had ear fullness and pain, felt a little off but no ear infection. I got put on a antibiotic. I then just started the flonase back up. One day i felt short of breath off and on. I also took a Zyrtec. I almost went to the hospital because i felt bad and felt like my allergies/ sinuses were causing it. I also have anxiety.

i was prescribed actually 3 rounds of doxycycline for it, and flonase, and also sudafed. i have polyps that have formed in each side of my nasal cavity. MISERABLE! Dr. also thinks some ofit is allergy-related. But in the last week or so, i have had the weird tingly sensations on my scalp/head. sort of like when you get cold chills but just in random spots on my head. doesn'thurt, just odd.
hey dude, i know exactly what you are going through. i too have suffered with physical symptoms that makes you wonder what is going on with your body. when people talk about anxiety most people think it has to do with panic attacks and anxious feelings. in our situations, you start getting other symptoms like the vision thing, feeling weird while walking, weird twitching sensations, and probably alot of other things.
i can deal with the ringing in the ears and fullness but i absolutely cannot deal with the dizziness anymore and nothing seems to be working. i havent been able to really go out for a long time now because i will start getting dizzy and feel weakness in my legs and feel like i am going to fall. i have 3 childrena dn feel like im letting them suffer cause i cant do the things i use to be able to do. my attacks happen and stay for it feels like forever.
He ha now referred me to an ENT which I can't see for another week. The pressure and pain is sometimes constant for hours and other times it's better. He just gave me a z-pack 5 day anti-biotic yesterday. I'm so upset and nervous about what is going on that I am tempted to go to the emergency room. Since I have only lived in Dallas for 2 yrs, my Dr has only seen me 2 times so he doesn't know my med histroy... not sure if that matters.....
Hi, I have the same symptoms almost exactly and have hade a variety of tests with no resolution yet. I am also having a lot of pressure in my head and jaw with dizziness. If you find out any new info that could be helpful It would be great. Thank you.
Mild weight gain even while dieting Extreme fatigue/napping GERD/Heartburn/chest pain Mostly constipation mixed with diarrhea Depression/anxiety/forgetfulness/brain fog Abdomen swells for no apparent reason Neck/jaw pain/swelling/pressure Scratchy voice Migraines, dizziness and back of neck/head pain Very cold feet and hands and sometimes a feeling like ants are biting my feet Endometriosis (2 years ago – cured after one year of birth control) Irregular/heavy periods and menstrual-like cramp
but in the mean time left ear is still feeling full and hearing loud white noise and dizziness! I asked the doc what's the next step and he said a hearing aid ... i said no about the dizziness ... he said to take zyrtec and see if that eliminated the fluid build up! So basically after 8+ weeks - i'm back to square one!!!! ARGGGHHHHH!!!!!
