I have a freind in Iceland that is using an herb called Angelica via a product called Sagapro. He had a high PSA and through taking Sagapro his PSA level has reduced and is staying constant. When I was in Iceland and switched from Flomax to Sagapro and I found it worked better than Flomax. I now buy it on line at www.sagamedicausa.com Has anyone else had good results with sagapro.
Or the CHs may have been triggered by something else when he just happened to take the Flomax. Or--and this may be unlikely, but worth exploring--this round may not be CHs, but some other type of really awful headache triggered by something else.
This relieves retention of urine there by decreases the chances of developing infection. It would be better to take flomax first dose on the first day and from the second day you can take both at a time. Consult your doctor for further assistance. Best.
The good news is the skin will grow back but might take a month or so to complete. Till then try not to push to hard when urinating, and goes easy on the sex if you catch my drift! I hope this help ally your fears. Take care.
I am having my 2nd bout with Kidney stones, I am 36 years old, strong male. I have an extremely high threshold for pain ( ive broken finger playing football and, set them right there and kept playing). Kidney stone make me cry like a little girl scraping her knee. I knew I was having one a week prior to to the pain, my pee was the color of Apple Juice (blood in urine). I was hoping that it was just a small one. My last one was 2-3 MM and passed in one day after my ER visit.
there might be side effects due to what your taking and of course getting back to normal ejaculation will indeed take time if you dont push yourself to control it.
Hiya, I might not be the best person to post the first reply to your post as I'm also in limboland (until tomorrow anyway!) and new to all this. However, I would say the water on face sensation is a symptom. I've been getting something similar on occasion. I feel like I have hairs brushing my cheek but there's nothing there and I sometimes feel like water is dripping onto my right arm. Very odd and I agree it makes you feel like you're going nuts!
Hello bubba56, I feel that you need to give some time for the bladder to heal. Take antibiotics if there is a possibility of any infection. Also, check for any specific symptoms for any other stones still present.
Each new symptom added another few hundred dollars to the imaginary doctor’s bill in my head, which meant that as things got worse, I had more incentive to pretend that I had some sort of temporary bug that would eventually go away. Then one day, I got up to go to work— at the time, I had a part-time job copyediting product labels and PowerPoint presentations—but I couldn’t make it out the door.
Flomax is used to ease the pain and hopefully allow the stone to pass. It is not approved for such use, and the company which produces Flomax refuses to label the drug for use for ureteral stone. The drug however, is safe to be used by females unless they have blood pressure problems and take medication for it, or if they are allergic to Alpha-blocking agents or Septra. http://www.netwellness.org/question.cfm/47541.
I have Crohn's disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and chronic aseptic prostatitis. I was told that I cannot take both Flomax and Pamine at the same time because my blood pressure could become too low, but that means when I am having bad prostate and bad IBS symptoms both at the same time, I have to decide which one is worse and that I want to treat and just put up with the other and try some home remedies. Also, Pamine can make the prostate symptoms worse.
My husband has a chronic problem with kidney stones. They gave him a script for flomax to take at the first sign of symptoms, but thanks to the lemonade and cranberry capsules, he has not had an issue in about a year. Cranberry capsules I discovered when my dog got bladder stones. They keep the stones from adhering to the surrounding tissue, much like the olive oil Im guessing.
I think the cash and food stamp assistant part of welfare should be eliminated or even just set to a specific time frame and stick to it. (let's say 6months to get yourself together cus things do happen out of our control.) Everyone should qualify for child care (No matter what their income is) if we all get child care and health care provided, people could would and not worry about 75% of their checks going to pay for medical and daycare..

Yes most of the time 4mm stones pass easily you are VERY lucky to be passing them so easily. Mine take days to weeks. Had surgery yesterday and they were unable to dislodge my 4mm stone stuck in the ureter. They did however put in a stent to allow my kidney to drain properly. They said I have very small Ureters. I'm a 5'8 130 pound female. I think alot of it depends on your own anatomy. I have two more in my right kidney that are really small so hopefully will pass without much trouble....
) Her ocular pressure was actually only slightly elevated and with cessation of the Topamax, her pressure returned to normal in a day, while it took over a week for her vison to return to normal. It was extremely impressive the way the lens moved forward initially. After a week, the lens moved back to normal position and the eye looked completely different as if from another person. It was really something I will never forget.
I'm not the best person to give advice on this as I'm so intensely stimulated by such drugs I keep coming back for more at the same time what we know and hear and feel some days these help free that hurt feeling when nothing is really hurting at the same time try moving the time you take them to later in the afternoon and you will be able to stay balanced rather than another planet
The last 30 yrs I have had some problem with erections but the last 6 months it as gotten worse. This is a follow-up for those of you interested in how my doctor appts. went today -I didn't post this length detail as a discussion on the board because I really don't have questions. First, I really don't like early morning appts. and seeing the GI doctor at 7:30 AM was painful enough. At the end of the appt. I gave him a copy of my esophageal spasm/heart attack quote I found last night - he read it twice - the second time outloud and said the operative word was "may" .
If there are innumerable ones and he is in pain, or if they are large, the best way to get him a clean slate would be to do a percutaneous nephrostolithotomy (PCNL), which is a surgery going into the kidney with a scope through a small incision in the back and breaking up and sucking out all the stone material. I don't know where you live, but maybe a university medical center with a urology department would take on his case as charity.
It takes me between 50 seconds and as much as 2 minutes to urinate and the urologist has said it should take me 20 to 30 seconds. I have no stopping and starting, just a weak continuous flow, and usually only get up once if at all during the night to go. I usually experience some burning at the tip of the penis during urination. Urgency is a problem at times, as well.
I thought it might be a gas pain, so I went to the bathroom, but on my way down the hall, the pain shot through the roof. I began sweating and felt like I was going to vomit. I squirmed around trying to find any relief, but nothing I did made a difference. I had treated hundreds of patients with kidney stones, but now, I realized, I was the one who was about to wind up in the emergency room.
I have a new doctor this time around since my old one moved to Florida. I have done all I can do with drinking the fluids and taking Flomax. THe doctor keep saying lets wait another week because he really just doesn't wan tot go in after that small of a stone. Well I really don't want to do that either, but if it won't pass it won't pass. In the past my stones have been very jagged, so it isn't that size is the issue it is that they get stuck because the edges dig in and stay there.
My experiences with antibiotics in the past have been that they usually work right away, and you just have to take them for a while to make sure you've totally eliminated the infection.
Are the red dots related in some way to dad's glaucoma and/or cataracts? Is there something he can do or take or wear ( specific prescription) to improve his situation? Thank you in advance for your attention to my questions.
I had frequent urination, every two to three hours at night, I was asked to take finasteride 5mg every day. which i did for about a month, however, this resulted in erectile dysfunction, so i stopped taking finasteride, after which the ED has gone. can u suggest other medication for mildly enlarged prostate.
If you can review and advise only for Flomax/Urimax instead of VELTAM,it may help me to discuss with my physician who started treatment once again after a month break. I wish you would appreciate my anxiety, having read about Prostate on Internet, generated psychological impact. If surgery is prolonged without drugs, what worst can happen? Kindly advise,if you are in my place.I do feel cramps & burning sensation on legs and also weakness.
This already happened 5 years ago. This time they diagnosed me a Bladder Neck Sclerosis and suggested me to try Alpha Blockers and should they not work after the follow up - in 6 weeks, they reccomend a chirurgical operation. After 1 week of treatment with Alpha blockers I have noticed more stimulus to urinate but no difference in flow. How effective are Alpha blockers? Should I feel a variation in flow? After how much time? Should I try other alpha blockers if these ones do not work?
think of one lens Restor and one Rezoom? Is there a length of time that is best to replace a Restor implant? I'm only 46 and if I found after some years that Restor has not been a good option for me could they be replaced years later? Is eye dryness common with all IOL's or just the multifocals? Thank you for your reply...very appreciated.
hives after scratching a lot, twitch in eyes or arm muscles once in a while, and bowel movements 2-3 times a day compared to 1 time a day that I was used to (may be related to medication). This discussion is related to Urgency/Frequency/Weak Flow.
