Common Questions and Answers about Flexibility yoga dancing

flexibility

Avatar f tn I love Zumba too but i wouldn't starting Zuma though if you weren't doing it before your pregnancy only because it is a lot of jumping and can be intense. Yoga is a good idea. It really is a good workout and you don't bounce around or exert too much. It is amazing for strength and flexibility and burns calories too.

Avatar f tn So I heard about the inducing yoga dance which pretty much looked like women just dancing around there house so I put on some music and danced for 30 mins woth my 2 year old. It suprisingly felt good to do . Now just gotta wait to seeif it did anything .
Avatar n tn I have the same type of saddlebags....... my favorite exercise is yoga. Yoga is great for strengthening and lengthening the muscles. Try "The Biggest Loser - Yoga for Weight Loss"; it will give you an excellent work out and will work on those saddlebags. I think that's the one exercise I've done, that really worked.
Avatar f tn Prenatal water aerobics or just swimming in general is easy and feels good
Avatar f tn What about yoga and increasing your flexibility? I have noticed when I stretch and do my yoga first that my back problems are much easier to deal with while working out. What about acupuncture? I did this with my second pregnancy for my migraines and morning sickness. I'm just starting to lose my pregnancy weight from my third child who was a csection 15 months ago but I had some complications that hendered my weight loss but those are getting under control now slowly and surely.
Avatar f tn Yeah so thats y im just dancing, yoga an just waiting my baby girl wil come when she ready.
Avatar f tn I Also do squats as the shower is running before I get in to help my thighs and butt. Prenatal yoga too for flexibility. You can get a cheap DVD from Walmart.
Avatar f tn You could try, also, adding in 30 minutes of yoga 3 day/week. You also need some strength training, which can be done with light hand weights and moves, such as squats and lunges. You could alternate yoga and the strength training and take a walk daily. There are many other forms of exercise that are also very good, such as swimming, biking, dancing, etc. You have to do what you enjoy and will be able to stick with and can include in your schedule.

Avatar f tn Squats, lunges, bike riding, bouncing on a birthing/yoga ball, brisk walking, walking stairs, pretty much any physical activity you HAVE NOT done during your pregnancy. Just make sure you don't over do it. Ones I've seen work are shoveling snow, moving a dresser(lol), and the ball.
Avatar f tn I get them occasionally... They come and go and last for a few seconds to a few minutes. Sometimes the areas just feel sore... Like I was doing a crap ton of sit ups. I do prenatal yoga though and every week for a few days after class the pains aren't as intense... I guess from all the stretching & strength & flexibility exercises. This is ny first pregnancy. I'm 18+3.
Avatar f tn Nothing if your body isnt ready (no matter how much you wish it would, trust me i feel ya im 37w almost 38w) but you could try epo capsles vaginaly and oraly (thats what ive been doing) dancing, they say fresh pineapple helps (alot of it!!!) Bumpy car ride, acupuncture, bouncing on a yoga ball/bed....
Avatar f tn Bounce on a yoga ball to help the baby get into position, also walk a lot. I tried everything to help him come, sex three times a day, walking, dancing, spicy foods, different teas, but I had to be induced. There's really no proven way to induce your own labor. Baby will come when he/she is ready. Good luck!
