Avatar n tn Well, i have a few questions, first off, im 16, and waking up at 7 am, isint a possibility, lol. Latly ive been up at around 10, 11, or 12. My question is If im waking up this late, and im taking my long acting inslulin(the foggy stuff) at liek 12, it peaks at aruond dinner time, so do i still need to take my short acting at dinner?

Avatar f tn t stretch before doing any exercise routine! What I do is warm up by doing the routine with a light weight so the muscles get warmed up. What you should try is using a foam roller after your routines. The rollers come with directions.
Avatar f tn Muscles are at their most elastic when warm. Before doing any therapy, make sure your muscle tissue is warm! A hot bath or shower, or several minutes in a hot sauna. Apply therapy immediately after, before the muscle tissue cools off. To stretch or foam roll begin with warm muscles. Stretch all the muscles that work at your various joints, not just the ones that feel tight.

Avatar m tn I've had a chronic back issue (loss of flexibility, stiffness and sciatic symptoms on the mild side for 20 years. 60 year old now and for the last 3 years pain in both legs has elevated. Mostly feels not stabbing pain, but chronic low grade muscular symtoms but also sciatic in the right buttocks; flickering discomfort symptoms in up left thigh side and front and lower left calf. Its not burning sensations, but like a fatigue with warm feeling.

Stretch the front of your leg in a standing position by bending your knee and raising your foot up toward your backside. Grasp the ankle with your hand to enhance the stretch. 1702882 tn?1307498836 t last the entire day but I can get them every 10-15 minutes and they last for just seconds at a time sometimes longer. I get them when I drink water, eat, walk, look up, go up stairs, look down... the list goes on and on...I have also noticed that if I tilt my head a certain direction I feel additional pressure building up in the back of my head (mainly at work). I think it has to do with how my computer sits on my desk.
Avatar f tn Gentle stretches such as side bends, shoulder shrugs, arm circles, overhead stretches, and bending to reach (but not touch) your toes are all good warm-up exercises. Do three to five repetitions of each. If you are swimming or walking, you can also warm up with a slower swim or walk. If you have OA in your knees or hips, you want to avoid any jolting exercise like jogging that causes your feet to pound the ground.
Avatar m tn Hi, I'm a healthy 24 years old male, from about 5 weeks ago, i've been noticing a weird feeling in ONLY in my MCP joints in both hands (my left hand more than my right hand, i'm right-handed) when i wake up in the morning or after some rest. They feel "too relaxed"/sleepy, and as i bend then straighten my fingers (intentionally slowly and softly), my MCP joints MILDLY behave like a switch; this feeling is only in my MCP joints.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
Avatar f tn This may be a crazy question, but I'm trying to figure out my summer and chemo! Is there 'wiggle' room with the chemo treatments? or do you have to go on the same day every three weeks? My six weeks is almost up and I need to get started and want to do it on Fridays so that I'll have the week-end to recover, but 4th of July falls on the Friday that I would get my second treatment and I'm assuming that they don't do chemo on that day. Thanks for any info.

If your symptoms persist after the accident, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Avatar m tn If you can understand that with increasing age the flexibility decreases and you can regain that with much practice and concentration. You need to strengthen your feet with proper exercise and control over a period of time, we are sure you can do better than what you are doing now and under a good trainer. Take care!
Avatar m tn Warm soap and water will take care of this. Sperm does not live long outside of the body anyway so you actually would be leaving dead sperm. Do thoroughly wash your hands though.
