Common Questions and Answers about Flexibility training schedule

Avatar f tn Some docs offices don't close on that particular holiday. Check with yours. There is a little wiggle room, but mostly they like to keep things on schedule since it's easier to schedule patients consistent on a particular day rather than randomly. You could do chemo on Thursdays as an alternative. I did mine on Thursday afternoons so I had more than plenty of time to "bounce" back by Monday. Hopefully you'll have as good a time with the chemo as I did...
Avatar n tn I just got into weight training but I dint know how to eat right. Can someone please guide me and show me a plan for teens or something.HELP.
Avatar f tn hello, mixed insulin is a mixture of long and short acting insulin. You must eat on a fixed schedule and fixed amount of carbs, protein and fat, with mixed insulins. If you do not eat on time you will go low. Basically you have to eat to match the insulin. A more modern approach is to take the short and long acting insulins separately. The long acting insulin is taken once or twice a day depending on the type of insulin.

20893158 tn?1579358911 s wise to alternate activities at least some, and getting some resistance training in as well and flexibility training can at least potentially reduce the costs of running. Peace.

Mom also continues to give him a bottle with soda when he screams or hits her. The little boy does not know how to drink from a water bottle and when he does he drinks like he has a bottle. I have express to mom that he needs to stop using a baby bottle but it does not seem to get through.
Avatar f tn He will willing go to the bathroom on schedule and sit down for his time but, he will not release in the toilet and will hold on for many hours to the point where it is just too long. I have not been able to find any one who can help us. I have tried absolutely everything from an incentive, distraction and stress reducing angle. We have also tried to take things away to create incentive no luck any additional advise. My fear is to be in the same place next year.

Avatar f tn Use the workouts that make use of flexibility and stretching, strength training and aerobics for the best results. Fitting in regular sessions of weightlifting, calisthenics or other strength activities can help increase muscle mass and keep the body toned and strong. Aerobics will help with burning calories, endurance and weight management, and stretching helps prevent injuries and prepare the body for more intense movements.

Avatar n tn Fortunately, there are now a lot more options for diabetics that can enable them to have a more flexible schedule all the way around. Now remember, I'm no doctor, so whatever I might suggest, you should check out with your doctor first before trying. I'm not sure what long acting insulin you are currently on, but I know my life changed when I got on a regimen of ultralente and regular and that was over 20 years ago.
Avatar m tn s getting to the point that I literally cannot miss a single training session. If I do the pain starts coming. It then only starts to go away after two or three training sessions. More info about the pain: It hurts when I look down, and it restricts my flexibility (it hurts to much to touch my toes). When it hurts I constantly move around because it relieves the pain (kind of like when you have to urinate) The pain feels almost like the growth pains that I use to get in my legs as a child.
Avatar f tn However, some people do try to toilet train at this age - and some are successful. If you want to deal with a schedule like that, go for it. But, when a baby can't even get themselves to the bathroom, this kind of potty training can be very difficult for a care provider. It's a much better way to potty train when there is a stay-at-home parent - but it's a quite demanding task to put on someone else. Perhaps the two of you can work on some kind of compromise?
Avatar f tn Finally, using good shoes (ideally compensating for individual foot differences) is important. The shin can be trained for greater static and dynamic flexibility through adaptation, which will diminish the contracting reflex, and allow the muscles to handle the rapid stretch. The key to this is to stretch the shins regularly. However, static stretching might not be enough. To adapt a muscle to rapid, eccentric contraction, it has to acquire greater dynamic flexibility as well.
Avatar f tn (I am 29 and exercise routinely with HIIT and strength training.). I have never had hip pain before, but I have had aches like this that have improved with rest and gradual return to my exercise routine. I exercised fine for about two weeks with that dull, intermittent pain in my hip. But for about a month now, my hip pain has become very severe. I have been unable to exercise or do much stretching at all. I even bought a cane to help me hobble around!
Avatar n tn They consist of stretching and holding different joint and muscle groups for 10 to 30 seconds each. Stretching improves flexibility, and daily stretching is the basis for any exercise program. Strength exercises involve working the muscle against resistance. This can be either with or without weights. Resistance training strengthens the muscle and increases the amount of activity you can do pain-free. Conditioning exercise, also called aerobic exercise, improves cardiovascular fitness.

Avatar f tn He will figure things out on his schedule, being still age 2 he is a little young to be completely potty trained. Ease up or it will cause more problems. And don't put the poop up to his nose.
Avatar f tn My dog is housebroken, I walk her during waking hours, and during the night when everyone is asleep she goes on a training pad in the bathroom, I've always been able to manage my schedule so she never stays more the 5 hours without going outside (I live in an apartment and have to walk her); however my work schedule changed since last week and I simply cannot leave work during the day to come home; I've asked here before (cant get to my old profile for some reason) on tips to train her t
Avatar n tn I am not a physician, but a volunteer and the mom of a type 1 diabetic. I would suggest you call your son's endocrinologist or CDE (certified diabetic educator). I would go over your sons training schedule, school schedule and meets. They would be the best to advise you as to how much your son should eat as a snack before hand and how to regulate his insulin for meets. Exercise and stress can lower Blood sugars so your son might require less insulin and more carbs.
Avatar m tn Ok so I think I may have ehlers Danlos. Selma perhaps you could give me some insight. 2 of my 3 daughters are hypermobile. I am not very but my wife is (although I show signs of eds). I have had Eds symptoms for over 12 years which I investigated neurologically instead of from a rheumatology. So all my tests always came back normal. I had an LP in 2008 which led to a spinal headache that would not go away for about 4 months. Possibly due to Eds lack of healing.
