I have never had hip pain before, but I have had aches like this that have improved with rest and gradual return to my exercise routine. I exercised fine for about two weeks with that dull, intermittent pain in my hip. But for about a month now, my hip pain has become very severe. I have been unable to exercise or do much stretching at all. I even bought a cane to help me hobble around!

Sometimes it feels like my bones hurt similar to growing pains, and other times it feels like intense muscle spasms. I also get sharp joint pain.I don't notice that my joints get particulartly swollen or that I get rashes or anything. Any ideas on what this could be?

Focus on what your task is, every time you go to work out have a mission for what you are going to do that day and when you friend says something that irks you, take a deep breath through your stomach and hold it then release.. Avatar n tn I have discuss with mom about using training pants but she continues to let him stay in pull ups. Mom does not have him on any kind of schedule. Mom also continues to give him a bottle with soda when he screams or hits her. The little boy does not know how to drink from a water bottle and when he does he drinks like he has a bottle. I have express to mom that he needs to stop using a baby bottle but it does not seem to get through.
Avatar f tn Best things to do is keep him confined in a kitchen or crate till trained, to avoid big mess. We took our pup out every 2-3 hours on the clock even overnight when training. We never put his nose in it.. I just don't think they will get that but who knows. When he went, we would say "bad, potty outside" and immediately take him outside even though he already went. We were very consistant and it took loads of patience.

Avatar m tn He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual. Our history with our Internist has shown that she is a bit of a catastrophesizer and she said this could be bladder cancer so we need to see a Urologist which we plan to do.

BUT, I *SO* regret that I am NOT walking more because my hips were slimmer when I was walking more. I went on to lose 70 lbs. KEEP WALKING! It is the best form of exercise for someone with a neck and back injury.... You might also look into water exercise. It is not only gentle on your joints, it is GREAT! SO glad to see you here and SO GLAD you asked. Hang in there!
Avatar f tn t stretch before doing any exercise routine! What I do is warm up by doing the routine with a light weight so the muscles get warmed up. What you should try is using a foam roller after your routines. The rollers come with directions.
Avatar m tn I have been sore right around both of my gluteus Maximus muscles since December. The muscle is very tight and seems to be restricting the movement of my lower lumbar. It's uncomfortable to sit even for short periods of time as there is a dull pain from my glutes down the back of my legs. I have been to a spinal PT and I temporarily felt better but not much. He focused only on my spine and said my movement was very limited for a 27 year old.
