She is giving loads of grief because I want to the lose weight but I have not done any exercising till I have seen the specialist concerning it. I told her I wanted to make the appointment but told me to pretty much run 3 miles and eat whatever I want. I am not a nurse but that does not sound correct to me.

Spoke with April and she will be contacting me within a week or 2 to see if I have been accepted... a new study with a pump that dispenses the Inferon in constant smaller doses.. Instead of a weekly shot. But still taking the Riba. Okay feeling a bit drained now.

About 6 month ago I started getting really bad upper back spasms, I had an MRI, CT Scan, and Ultra Sound that all came back clear. I got another epidural about a month ago and the back spasms went away (they are starting to come back as the epidural is wearing off).
Avatar m tn Usually the main predictors of aortic dissection are family history, aortic size, and aortic flexibility. For someone of your aortic size, I would take it easy. Try the ARB approach with a max or ultra-max high dosage (as long as your doctor lets you) and see if that reduces aortic size and aortic flexibility (the "pulse pressure" is one way to estimate the flexibility - Google it). If so, then perhaps you can talk to your doctor about athletics.

Im applying for food stamps and temporary cash assistance though because I haven't worked in months! The process is so ridiculous, like I had to pay 20 $ at ups to fax in all the paper work! But we receive notes and oral comments from two teachers that he talks in class and in the hallway after being warned. What can we do at home to encourage him to be quiet and obey when told to be quiet. He's in a Magnet program and you must keep a B average in all subject areas including conduct.
Avatar f tn Because she has sleeping issue and is late alot, and because she has ibs and has had to be dosed in the car or go in after an accident, she is being kicked off the program. She is on 120mg and will be detoxed in 30 days. I am not saying that she was not in the wrong about things but this is very sudden. She has no income--I have been trying to pay her insurance and methadone fees myself as she cannot work and has exhausted short term disability benefits.

Avatar m tn I have been sore right around both of my gluteus Maximus muscles since December. The muscle is very tight and seems to be restricting the movement of my lower lumbar. It's uncomfortable to sit even for short periods of time as there is a dull pain from my glutes down the back of my legs. I have been to a spinal PT and I temporarily felt better but not much. He focused only on my spine and said my movement was very limited for a 27 year old.

All forms of movement are good and it's movement that provides the benefit, not one particular form of it. Moving fast, as with running, does give benefits moving more slowly, as with walking, don't, such as moving toxins and nutrients through your body and out -- the more you sweat, the more you excrete, etc.

Sec. has strict regulations as regards substance abuse but if you are in a rehab program now and have been through it through an extended period of time (and have not used during the eligibility period) and have written proof from them or from a doctor or psychiatrist that you have not used, that aspect should not be a problem. However you might get denied again but that would not be a reason to stop.
