Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.

I have been to a spinal PT and I temporarily felt better but not much. He focused only on my spine and said my movement was very limited for a 27 year old. I had an X-ray taken in December that my Internal Med. Physician initially said revealed dehydrated discs around the S1 area but later said they looked fine. I have been doing yoga 3-5 times a week the past 1.
Avatar n tn As for the additional fluid that you say is in your legs, make sure you talk to your doctor about this, as it could possibly have something to do with your kidneys. Your doctor may end up sending you to an endochrinologist - basically a doctor that specializes in Diabetes. Good Luck!
Avatar m tn pt did evaluation and said he has two postions on lower pack where the five nerves are not moving property down the leg....my son has little to no flexibility in his hips/legs and is suffering spasms and pin needle pain/ numbness in legs and all threw back...this has not been diagnosed by a doc just the pt and he is telling me after a month of therapy is he still having pain maybehe will need more extensive xrays...doesnt the doc give the pt instructions...

The fingers on my left hand are curling in a sort of claw shape and there’s little flexibility, or grip. Also my left arm pulsates and twitches and my right arm has started doing that also. Recently my upper legs, just above the knee, are twitching as well and I have also felt twitches on my buttocks and shoulders.

Avatar f tn Are you on any medication that could cause your problems? You could also be over exercising! Do you have a sleep disorder or have you been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Have you had a thorough medical checkup? A thyroid condition could be a cause or kidney condition just to name a few. That being said try the following. Muscles are at their most elastic when warm. Before doing any therapy, make sure your muscle tissue is warm! A hot bath or shower, or several minutes in a hot sauna.
Avatar n tn Toes lose sensation, have wierd sensations spasms in toes, bottom of foot, ankle and legs. The uncomfortableness of it really makes it hard to sleep. I get very tight muscles in my legs as well losing flexibility. I have had a spinal mri and head mri about a ayear ago and nothing showed up. I do also get spasms in my buttocks, back and face and neck as well.
Avatar f tn I have a hard time walking sometimes in the mornings when I first get up or have been sitting for awhile. I feel all stiff in my legs. Is this from the chemo treatments and will it ever get better? My ovarian cancer was found in stage 1a and chemo was an option for me and I chose to have it and I am still glad that I did because if my cancer ever comes back I will know that I did all I could to help myself with no regrets but I just wish I could get my legs feeling better.

11195379 tn?1427921527 I love walking, if your side starts to hurt its probably cause your walking to fast or started walking to fast, i start out slow and just pick up pace if I'm feeling fine, when im tired i just do slow walks, try to do them every day, and be sure to breath and stay hydrated!

Avatar m tn ve had a chronic back issue (loss of flexibility, stiffness and sciatic symptoms on the mild side for 20 years. 60 year old now and for the last 3 years pain in both legs has elevated. Mostly feels not stabbing pain, but chronic low grade muscular symtoms but also sciatic in the right buttocks; flickering discomfort symptoms in up left thigh side and front and lower left calf. Its not burning sensations, but like a fatigue with warm feeling. I have developed high blood pressure like 160, 102.
