Avatar m tn I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
Avatar f tn m so scared that it has moved and I will have to have surgery again to correct it. I am like sersiously freaking out. But it could also just be a programming thing... I have not felt the stimulation at all like I did during the trial but it has only been programmed once when I was kind of out of it. I'm just freaking out that since it's on the left side of my head that that is completly wrong and off that it just can't be the programming....
Avatar n tn Hi. I work in IT programming phone systems so I can relate to long days at the keyboard! Are you in an unusally active period of programming? Do you have an ergonomic wrist pad, keyboard, desk, chair? Is everythi8ng set correctly? If not, that can definitely exacerbate the problem. You can try an OTC anti-inflamatory to see how that works. When my pain first started I used them like crazy and applied biofreeze constantly to get relief enough to do my job.
574118 tn?1305135284 s tough and I realised I hate networking. The only alternative left for me now is programming. I can say I am ok in C++ but everything turned C#. Now stresses aren't advised for BP. I "think" I like programming. But I am already myope -5 in both eyes. Of course I wear eye glasses. I have a few queries: is it complicated to learn it? visual studio....
Avatar n tn My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
Avatar n tn My mother in law has had a pacemaker for 6 years. Since receiving the PM, her average heart rate is between 80-90. Suddenly her HR drops to 60 and stays there for a couple of weeks. When this happens, she is completely wiped out. The doctor doesn't seem to have any explanation for her. HR will stay at 60 for a couple of months and overnight it goes back to 80-90. She has been doing well for a couple of months, and last night HR dropped again to 60. What causes this to happen?
Avatar m tn There was no need for any chemo or radiation since the tumor was well encapsulated. He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual.
Avatar m tn Hi Brad, I agree with nickppatel re the leg activity in water polo. I played water polo for 6 years in my late teens to early twenties (then joined the military) and I have a full understanding on the amount of leg work required just to play water polo, let alone being the goalie.
20927978 tn?1681380889 The question of whether C++ is better than Java is a common one, but the answer is not straightforward. Both languages have their own strengths and weaknesses, and the choice between the two depends on the specific requirements of the project, the skill set of the development team, and personal preferences. C++ is a high-performance, low-level language that allows for greater control over hardware and system resources.
Avatar m tn I understand this sounds hypochondriac but I dedicated my whole life to learn IT/programming and I need my brain in top shape.
Avatar f tn I have a problem with chronic pain in my left shin and have had bouts with plantar fastitis. Suddenly by shoe inserts to support my high arches feel awful. What are the right exercises and what else can I do?
700000 tn?1231287536 The only problem I have is that it is kind of a bummer in that without the flexibility in my wrist, some of my basketball and martial arts activities that I participate in currently are limited. I still live a normal life as an engineer and go to the gym 5 - 6 times per week and never feel any pain except on REALLY cold days. I recently landscaped my backyard with no problems. As far as flexibility, I was barely able to do a flat handed push up 3 years ago. I am 30 years old currently.
Avatar f tn My daughter is 25 now, and 5 years ago she broke her femur and had a titanium rod put in her leg. She's doing fine, and now she's taking tae kwando classes. She is not sure, however, if she should push herself to do kicks, etc., or to be careful not to put too much strain on her hip. She's not sure if she can increase her flexibility by pushing herself, or if she could do herself harm. How can she tell what could be helpful as opposed to what might to damage?
Avatar m tn t smoke, exercise, eat good diet, etc,) and avoid injury to your eye the chances of you ending up blind in both eyes are extremely small probably 1 in 10,000 if that high. -7 is not that high.
Avatar m tn I had surgery over 10 months ago for a lateral meniscus tear in my knee. This is the second surgery I have had on this same knee. The previous surgery I had a medial meniscus tear about 5 years ago. I am very active and cycle about 5 hours a week and about 5 hours a week of more weight bearing exercise. I have not been able to regain full flexibility to the knee, I am lacking 10 degrees of motion. I ice my knee most every day after exercising.
