Avatar m tn I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
Avatar n tn My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
Avatar m tn There was no need for any chemo or radiation since the tumor was well encapsulated. He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual.
Avatar m tn Hi Brad, I agree with nickppatel re the leg activity in water polo. I played water polo for 6 years in my late teens to early twenties (then joined the military) and I have a full understanding on the amount of leg work required just to play water polo, let alone being the goalie.
Avatar f tn My husband was addicted to porn & masturbation for 27 yrs, we are married 30 yrs, He's told me that he hasn't masturbated in the past 3 yrs. It's hard to believe him because a few times in the past, whenever we havne't been intimate for 3 or 4 days, whenever he ejaculates, there is hardly any semen sometimes.
8377023 tn?1399509160 s normal sometimes to constantly be breastfeeding in the beginning. Formula has a filler in that makes babies full for longer. Breast milk does not have any fillers in it. It's not that she isn't getting full it's just she will eat more often. Even every hour sometimes. And that's okay, she told me there will be days in the first 3 months that she will eat all day long and it's good for them.
Avatar n tn The first time I tried so hard to breast feed but my milk would not come in enough so both me and my daughter got frustrated so I would just pump and hope enough would come out for a feeding but only 1/2 oz. per time would come so I would give her what milk I had and then feed her formula till she had enough this went on for 2 1/2 months and still the most milk I could pump was 1 oz. at a time . Can anyone tell me if there is a way to help your milk come in better ?
Avatar f tn m wondering should I start drinking some tea I heard of that helps the production of it or doing things to insure I have enough. Do you think it's a good idea ?

1665009 tn?1303175598 You might want to ask your doctor about that if you are still interested, i dont really have any more information about stopping breast production, my friend stopped nursing her son around 7 months ago and she STILL produces come milk!!!
7110266 tn?1392136011 I'm up to a F cup so I know how you feel. If I wear my tank I dress in layers even if it's hot out so you can't tell but there are tanks that give you enough support so that it looks like you're still wearing a bra even though you're top heavy. :) I'm not one of those that likes to let it all hang down and out either.. was just giving suggestions to try and help with your pain.
Avatar f tn I have a problem with chronic pain in my left shin and have had bouts with plantar fastitis. Suddenly by shoe inserts to support my high arches feel awful. What are the right exercises and what else can I do?
700000 tn?1231287536 The only problem I have is that it is kind of a bummer in that without the flexibility in my wrist, some of my basketball and martial arts activities that I participate in currently are limited. I still live a normal life as an engineer and go to the gym 5 - 6 times per week and never feel any pain except on REALLY cold days. I recently landscaped my backyard with no problems. As far as flexibility, I was barely able to do a flat handed push up 3 years ago. I am 30 years old currently.
Avatar f tn My daughter is 25 now, and 5 years ago she broke her femur and had a titanium rod put in her leg. She's doing fine, and now she's taking tae kwando classes. She is not sure, however, if she should push herself to do kicks, etc., or to be careful not to put too much strain on her hip. She's not sure if she can increase her flexibility by pushing herself, or if she could do herself harm. How can she tell what could be helpful as opposed to what might to damage?

Avatar m tn I had surgery over 10 months ago for a lateral meniscus tear in my knee. This is the second surgery I have had on this same knee. The previous surgery I had a medial meniscus tear about 5 years ago. I am very active and cycle about 5 hours a week and about 5 hours a week of more weight bearing exercise. I have not been able to regain full flexibility to the knee, I am lacking 10 degrees of motion. I ice my knee most every day after exercising.
