Often times when someone is getting out from a long term jail sentence they have a program they enter upon release. They may live in a "half way" house and go through a job program to get back on their feet.

my dads x-rays in january showed his heart was normal size now in may it show enlarge 10 to 15 % of his heart is working . we have pacemaker/defil in and was told he has CHF so how long does it take for you heart to enlarge?

I have returned to gymnastics after 3 years out and find that I get severe cramp in the arches of my feet. It seems to occur if I point my toes too hard and for long periods of time. My feet don't seem to be as flexible as they used to be as I used to have a much better toe point before. As I have to train in barefeet, I've also noticed that they can get quite cold sometimes. Can anyone help?
Awwww, I can understand that she does have a painful condition, but you deserve to feel fulfilled, happy, loved and a passionate, active sexual life. You do have so many options and it's time Communicate effectively with her.
I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot.
I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
As title suggests, I wonder if there is not a need for a forum community for long-term support. This community is great, but is skewed towards the short-term wd symptoms and getting through the initial physical pain of wd. AA &/or NA may be the best choice, but I imagine there are a great numnber of people who can not/will not go to these types of meeting for various reasons. Or even if they do, some additional support through an online community could help.
s probably wise to tell current or future committed partners, e.g. when a long term relationship seems on the horizon, about past STDs. In the event such a partner later develops an HPV problem -- say warts or an abnormal pap smear -- it's generally better to have had "the talk" well ahead of time, and not in response to a new diagnosis and possible emotional crisis.
In summary, the main reason I disagree with your GP is his apparent black/white stance.

Both my surgeon and oncologist have strongly recommended radiation therapy.
I was told that my risk following radiation therapy will be 10-15% for dcis and +/- 4% for invasive breast cancer.
My current risk is 30% for dcis and 8% for invasive cancer.
Does this really warrant radiation therapy?
Also, how much flexibility is there for weight loss during radiation therapy? Is a one kilogram weight loss per week during radiation therapy (proposed 5 weeks) acceptable?
The overwork causes the heart to increase in size. At first the enlargement in size will increase contractual strength which is compensatory, but if the underlying cause for the enlarged RV is not properly treated The RV will enlarge to a size that detrimental, and this will decrease contractual strength and eventually this will effect the left side of the by not supplying enough blood/oxygen from the lungs.
im really annoyed because i have been to the doctor and have had this problem for 3 in a half years and my GP dosent help much just gives me pills which i do take but the the problem comes back straight after running out of the pills.

Maybe the people you are choosing to partner up with are good at being romantic but poor at being deeply caring in the long term. Who knows. For you, only the frothy, early stage of relationships is enough to keep you involved. It might stem from what you decided about the world when you were little. But if it is exactly what you want and it satisfies you, you might simply stop worrying about it.
Although I have no problem remembering facts and figures and my short term memory is better than most, I have no long term memory of events. I know it's normal not to remember childhood, but I don't remember high school or college or anything I did there. In fact, my oldest memory is looking outside and seeing chairs on the lawn at my mom's birthday. That was two weeks ago and there only seems to be a vague, blank space before it. It is normal in most relationships for the initial buzz and infatuation to die down, and a year in is pretty typical for this. If all else is good, and you suggest it is, then it's worth persevering. Turning that initial first-year excitement into something that is a bit slower, and steadier, but is stronger and long-lasting, that's the challenge you have now.

My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on.
Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
