I still suffer from excruciating cramp in my feet. Over the last 2 years I have built up the muscles in my feet and have increased flexibility with daily stretches and exercises but still suffer from painful cramp in my arches and toes. It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot.
I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
I am planning on volunteering in hospitals and shadowing E.R. doctors because I want to become a doctor. The only problem is when I'm in a hospital setting, see blood, or sometimes even talk about gory things I get lightheaded. I don't get "grossed out" by anything like that and I am not afraid of needles.. It seems to be all psychological.
It is very frustrating because as much as I want to be in the hospital, my body doesn't agree with it.
Just go the nearest hospital and tell them your in labor, you have to give them information about the main hospital you get care in for your baby. If they ask you if you planned your pregnancy, you say yes. Make sure you have all your medical papers with you, this will make it a simple for you and them so they can take better care of you and your baby. And make sure you take some baby clothing with you and your baby car seat, show them your serious about your baby.
Been in the hospital since 8am this morning, it's now 12:17am running a fever and bad contractions, no dilation though so they are keeping me over night because I'm in a ton of pain. Wish I knew what was going on!?
for my it was not the dad it was my aunt whom stayed she was in the delivery room she got the bracelet to get baby from nusery but cause she was not the babys dad i had to makea wriitten statement sign papers in order for her to stay with me only reason babys daddy was nit present is cause i caught him stealing saved up money meant for baby stuff and he popped off my beer and cigs come first then whatever left goes towards you and the baby which in his case would have less than 50 dollars for a
Lookig at westmead public and blacktown public does anyone have any experience with these hospitals that can help me make a disission. I had my other two kids at nepean private and daughter at westmead private as I had private health insurance but I dont have it this time.
My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on.
Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
There was no need for any chemo or radiation since the tumor was well encapsulated. He engaged in all follow up tests and recent routine tests were all normal except his abdominal CT Scan showed some swelling in his bladder lining. All urine tests were normal - no signs of blood or infection...no sense of urgency to urinate or anything else unusual.
They'll give you a list of what you need to take in.
I Work At An Hospital Here In Florida , & There's Actually Two Hospitals In The City Where I Am From . I Honestly Have Been Getting Lots Of Questions About Where I Will Be Delivering My Child At From Work . I Do NOT Want To Choose The One I Work At Because Of My Co-Workers Being #1 , & The Hospital Is Very Disgusting ! The HouseKeepers Do Not Clean Thoroughly & Properly. I Do Not Want Me Nor My Baby Boy Laying In Filth!
If you feel uncomfortable there, don't go there. I know someone who really wanted to deliver at the Zanesville hospital in the state I live in (which would be about a 35 minute drive) because that's where her family lived and she felt most comfortable at that hospital, but her boyfriend demanded that she be taken to Fairfeild medical center (another hospital about the same distance away), but she hated it there. She said the people there are rude and annoying.

Hi all. Has anyone switched hospitals in the second trimester? I'm 17 wks so far have liked the hospital I'm at but have heard bad things about birth at this hospital, and another hospital in my area has a much better reputation for birth. Does it really matter so much where you go? It seems like a hassle to switch at this point but may be worth it?
