It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.

Avatar m tn ve been diligent with my physical therapy and I have full flexibility in the leg. I can bend the leg at the knee and I can fully extend it. I can put weight on the leg and the doctor no longer requires me to wear the surgical boot. I still need to use a cane or crutches to get around. How long does it take for the tibia fracture to fully heal, and is there anything I can do to quicken the healing process on my own other than exercises and physical therapy? Thank you.

Avatar m tn Ok so I think I may have ehlers Danlos. Selma perhaps you could give me some insight. 2 of my 3 daughters are hypermobile. I am not very but my wife is (although I show signs of eds). I have had Eds symptoms for over 12 years which I investigated neurologically instead of from a rheumatology. So all my tests always came back normal. I had an LP in 2008 which led to a spinal headache that would not go away for about 4 months. Possibly due to Eds lack of healing.

Now, 5 years later, my lower back hurts and it hurts to touch the place where the first or second bones are from the bottom. I've tried physical therapy and there I learned exercises that help relieve the pain temporarily. Is this lower back strain or something more serious? Is it a ligament that has been stretched too far? I'm afraid I might have damaged the spinal cord.

The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.

He is also interested in curling and distance running. Can he participate in any of these activities? He did a trial of enalapril a few years ago but is currently on no medications.
