Avatar n tn It tests your physical endurance for sure. Basically you do extreme flexibility and strength poses in a blaring hot room that is hotter than a sauna. Supposedly really healthy for you. But people who cannot endure it physically end up puking sometimes. Also, always do some cardio with strength training. Are you in any sports? Could be could to balance it out. You need to learn the dangers of dehydration. If you work out a lot, you can't just drink plain water.

Im paranoid if i gain too much weight my baby will be too big and cause difficulties during labor which terrifies me..Im wanting to avoid a c section so bad!
Avatar n tn t feel deprived. The key is a calorie deficit. For exercises, I recommend Zumba or kickboxing, personally, because it makes you feel like you are doing something to workout and learn something for day to day life (Zumba, dancing; Kickboxing, self defense). I have lost 40 pounds since September while breastfeeding. Some say more than 1-2 pounds per week is bad but it isn't always the case. Its all about how you feel and re-training your body.

It seems to occur when my toes are pointed for long periods of time as I tend to tense my feet quite hard.
Avatar m tn The problem with too much muscle for you is, kickboxing depends on great flexibility, and huge muscles can get in the way of that. Otherwise, you'd just get fat, which won't help you do anything but get slower, unless you want to be an offensive lineman. That's why so many athletes take steroids -- to turn the excess food into muscle.
Avatar m tn I have been sore right around both of my gluteus Maximus muscles since December. The muscle is very tight and seems to be restricting the movement of my lower lumbar. It's uncomfortable to sit even for short periods of time as there is a dull pain from my glutes down the back of my legs. I have been to a spinal PT and I temporarily felt better but not much. He focused only on my spine and said my movement was very limited for a 27 year old.

Avatar f tn yep im at the middle point too!! you just have to keep at it!! Make sure you do different exercises like the reverse crunch and the jacknives they are really great!! Like they have been advising me here im doing great and to just wait cus my belly will follow in suit soon enough!!

Making single small changes works best -- such as stop drinking sodas and drink water instead. Or exchange white bread for whole grain. Stop eating things with sugar -- try stevia instead.
Avatar m tn ve been diligent with my physical therapy and I have full flexibility in the leg. I can bend the leg at the knee and I can fully extend it. I can put weight on the leg and the doctor no longer requires me to wear the surgical boot. I still need to use a cane or crutches to get around. How long does it take for the tibia fracture to fully heal, and is there anything I can do to quicken the healing process on my own other than exercises and physical therapy? Thank you.

So my husband and I went through my food diary that I had on another site and it said I was getting between 500-1000 calories a day. I wasn't meaning to by all means. I thought that I was getting the 1200 calories a day and I watched what I ate and no soda(big soda drinker here) and I worked out everyday except the weekends and I just walked thoughs.

Avatar n tn My 80 year old mother had TKR surgery last week. She says when she stands or sits for any length of time, her foot hurts and she must lay down to relieve the pain. The doctor said this is typical because of blood rushing to the foot and recommended putting the support sock on. Has anyone else experienced this? Everyone is impressed with her flexibility and she's doing her exercises regularly but this pain has really gotten her concerned and regrets getting the surgery.
