Avatar f tn I know walking is a good exercise, and this might be an obvious answer to the question but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of exercises I could do to maintain my weight. Im paranoid if i gain too much weight my baby will be too big and cause difficulties during labor which terrifies me..Im wanting to avoid a c section so bad!

(no knee pain during a month where I was bed ridden due to unrelated illness). Avatar m tn I have been sore right around both of my gluteus Maximus muscles since December. The muscle is very tight and seems to be restricting the movement of my lower lumbar. It's uncomfortable to sit even for short periods of time as there is a dull pain from my glutes down the back of my legs. I have been to a spinal PT and I temporarily felt better but not much. He focused only on my spine and said my movement was very limited for a 27 year old.

Avatar m tn ve been diligent with my physical therapy and I have full flexibility in the leg. I can bend the leg at the knee and I can fully extend it. I can put weight on the leg and the doctor no longer requires me to wear the surgical boot. I still need to use a cane or crutches to get around. How long does it take for the tibia fracture to fully heal, and is there anything I can do to quicken the healing process on my own other than exercises and physical therapy? Thank you.

Avatar f tn I am 57 and enjoy recreational cycling. Nothing crazy, smooth road biking with nice wide seat on fairly flat paths. Had sacrocolpopexy in 2015 using da Vinci robotic arm. Cystocele is back. Surgeon blames it on bike riding even though she told me before that cycling would be a safe exercise. I need a second opinion about how to proceed from here. Looking for great southern California urogynecologist for second opinion regarding repair and safe exercise.
