Avatar m tn I want to go back and study physiotherapy, however, my friend thinks that would be too much of an intense career choice for someone with a heart condition. What are your thoughts? I have been dreaming about this career for some time, and now that I have the opportunity to study it, I am having doubts. I feel a bit deflated and saddened by it all. What are your thoughts?
Avatar n tn Because of this, i feel as tho i am limited as to what career or major i may be. (for example, it is necessary to take organic chemistry to be a pharmacist but i have not taken chemistry at all yet.) While i dwell in my mistakes, i see others who took the necessary classes to succeed in their life.I am having an extremely hard time finding a potential career or even a major.
Avatar f tn Ive been on tramadol since 2006. In the begging it wasn't cuz I needed it, it was more for fun. Over the years I started using it as a part of my routines daily. 4 at about noon than 4 rite before bed. Noon time cuz it put me in a good mood and gave me energy. Rite before bed I take 4 because for some reason I wake up feeling great. It became a daily routine. I've excelled at my job. Got a life changing promotion about 2 weeks ago.
Avatar m tn I have flexibility issues in almost all of my joints (Knees, elbow, wrist, ankle). Coincidentally, all the joints in the right side of my body are worse. I cannot squat as the back of my feet cannot touch my butt, my hand cannot touch my shoulder, cannot do pushup as wrist will hurt a lot. I have done xrays but doctor said my xrays are fine. Went through physiotherapy but joints flexibility does not improve no matter how much i stretched.
Avatar f tn but that do not meet the radiographic criteria for definition as a Chiari malformation. The currently accepted radiographic definition for a Chiari malformation is that cerebellar tonsils lie at least 5mm below the level of the foramen magnum. Some clinicians have reported that some patients appear to experience symptoms consistent with a Chiari malformation without radiographic evidence of tonsillar herniation.
20911706 tn?1629515701 Purpose and Exercises Calisthenics is a form of strength training that uses body weight to improve endurance, flexibility, coordination, and strength. Calisthenics comes with a range of exercises with different intensity. This type of training suits beginners the best and can be easily modified for advanced workouts. With all the variety of trendy fitness forms such as Tabata, fly yoga, Zumba, Crossfit, and so on, calisthenics seems an old-school term that is long forgotten.
Avatar m tn Usually the main predictors of aortic dissection are family history, aortic size, and aortic flexibility. For someone of your aortic size, I would take it easy. Try the ARB approach with a max or ultra-max high dosage (as long as your doctor lets you) and see if that reduces aortic size and aortic flexibility (the "pulse pressure" is one way to estimate the flexibility - Google it). If so, then perhaps you can talk to your doctor about athletics.
Avatar f tn Hi. Well, you have only been dating two months. This is not a long time. I'll be honest. I think you are jumping the gun with these types of deep conversations. You and he need to relax and enjoy each other's company and not "THINK" so much. Just because you were friends does not mean you go from 0 to 10 when dating. I think that you need to express to him that you two do need to move slowly and get to know each other as romantic partners.
Avatar f tn Stretching isn't the best way to improve flexibility—lifting weights through a full range of motion is, according to a recent study at the University of North Dakota. Pausing for 2 to 3 seconds at the "down" position of the lift (where you feel the stretch) without relaxing your muscles is even more effective.
700000 tn?1231287536 t lose any strength in the arm but did lose ALOT of flexibility. I still was able to go on to play college Division 1A football as a defensive end for another 5 years. The only problem I have is that it is kind of a bummer in that without the flexibility in my wrist, some of my basketball and martial arts activities that I participate in currently are limited. I still live a normal life as an engineer and go to the gym 5 - 6 times per week and never feel any pain except on REALLY cold days.
Avatar f tn Did any of you ladies have a full time career that you gave up after having your child? It is in my plan (plans change) to return to work about 8-12 weeks after my baby gets here.. but i would like to hear some stories to why you decided to do what you do now..
Avatar m tn My girlfriend and I both have college degrees and jobs, but the problem is our career potential is severely limited here because we live in a small town that is about 4 hours away from any major cities. I moved here two years ago after accepting an entry level job in my field, with every intention of leaving as soon as possible once a better opportunity somewhere else became available.
Avatar n tn If you SVR you are incapable of infecting anyone-even Dracula wouldn't be interested in you. It is likely that the application form will ask if you have had certain diseases of which Hep C is certain to be one, in which case you should have a doctors letter prepared to go with the form confirming that you are 100% non-contagious.
Avatar f tn Often their own insecurity can cause that. Keeping you in a box keeps you from ever being a career threat. This could be subconscious. Or, their own incompetence. Her unawareness of how she is setting a tone and wording things in such a way to cause your self doubt may not be her intention at all. A good boss also gets feedback on themselves. "what do you need from me? what could I do better in your eyes?" and having the guts to ask that without being afraid of the answer.
Avatar f tn Was originally diagnosed with stress induced anxiety in March and was sent to see a shrink. went in to Dr last month complaining of hot flashes and he ordered blood work to see if I was in menopause. Guess what? I have hyperthyroidism. ( was ecstatic at first that I'm not crazy after all) . Am currently on 5mg of methimazole 3 times a day. Causes itching, hives, and welts. Unbearable! Endo put me on propranolol 10mg twice a day.
Avatar m tn Does anybody know or know where i can find the definition of euphoric recall?
