Flexeril vs zanaflex

Common Questions and Answers about Flexeril vs zanaflex

flexeril

I take Zanaflex which is much like the drug Baclofen. Zanaflex produces more drowsiness and sedation than baclofen. Are you taking it as a muscle relaxer?
Have you tried muscle relaxants such as Zanaflex or Flexeril? This sometimes occurs after trauma such as motor vehicle accidents. Muscle strains can lead to tension headaches or trigger migraines. Cervical spine abnormalities should have been pickep up by the spine films done. However, if you have numbness and tingling in your limbs or weakness, an EMG may be helpful. Talk to your docs about symptomatic treatment and try some warm showers/baths, ibuprofen, and perhaps a muscle relaxant.
Vicodin is not something I can take, but I do always have darvocet, flexeril and zanaflex. At first they did not help but now that my condition is under control, the pain pills and muscle relaxers are wonderful and I cannot imagine life without them. What are you having done on the 13th and 14th? Are you seeing a rheumy? Has he tried putting you on plaquenil in addition to the anti inflammatories?
It is a muscle relaxant..but unlike flexeril, zanaflex, skelaxin, soma breaks down into a metabolite that is habit forming,,,in its original form it is not so much so//but after it is metabolized, it becomes a substance that is habit forming making it different than other muscle relaxers on the market..and is becoming less and less RX-ed because of this A competent DR will usually have a patient other MRs before he offers soma..some will not RX it//Soma is very similar to a benzo addiction..

I think this is all related to coming off the Flexerill (muscle relaxant) 3X a day and certainly, how the neck is positioned during sleep...that's why I wondered what others have used for a pillow...soft or firm, contoured or flat?? What have you been using?
