flexeril normal dose

I have taken flexeril, could not take more than a 1/4 or I would feel very odd. Maybe that was a good thing. You can get a pill cutter and start cutting your dose. We aren't allowed to talk about how to dose hopefully you can get the jist of this. While trying to wean down I would up your vitamins. There is something called a Thomas Recipe but that is for narcotics,so not sure if it would work for you. Your muscles may need more magnesium than normal.

I had very bad side effects from Flexeril. Just on one dose I was speaking and the words coming out of my mouth was not what I meant to say. It made me extremely foggy too, to the point where I could not fuction. It took 3 days for the med to completely get out of my system. I will never take it again.

Hi there. I was prescribed flexeril today for some back pain. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? If it is addicting? Will it make me sleepy/hyper, etc?

m going again tomorrow to perhaps get off of flexeril and maybe get a monitor to take home. Has anyone had this happen to them when on Flexeril? I noticed that the skipped beats got worse with the supplements i'm on too but don't know if these should cause such an event.

Are you sure the flexeril dose is 100mg?That is high..flexeril comes in 10mg tabs and 100 mg is 10 tabs a day?Is this right?

Hi for almost a year I’ve been having several symptoms that I now believe point to serotonin syndrome. Excessive sweating in normal temperatures, tremors, IBS, tachycardia & many more. All started after starting adderall, shortly after my dose was upped on that & depakote upped. Also take trazodone, gabapentin & flexeril & melatonin. Taking 2 of these or more can cause it.. Anyone w/ info or experience?

Now my ob just has me on the lowest dose of flexeril but it seems to do nothing for it. Just 10 more weeks though i think i can make it if i've gotten this far.

I am getting symptoms like fatigue and sometimes a flutter or shortness of breath. One of the side effects of flexeril is irregular heart beat. I'm glad I had a normal EKg or ECG and that my doctor already said my heart sounds very strong. So, I'll be going in today to see if they want to stop meds and/or try the halter. It is always something, I swear.

I wouldn't recommend opioid medication for your husband since he is a driver. He has a commercial driver's license, right? If so, the requirements to maintain that license is strict and they don't allow commercial drivers to be under the influence of any medications that may impair his driving. If he is at home for a couple of days, he could try to take prescribed opioid medications during that period of time when he is not driving.

I was prescribed a low dose Flexeril 10 mg 6 years ago and took it q pm for fibromyalgia pain. It was great for that and it took me only 3 weeks to get over the sluggish feeling in the am. However, I am in the medical field and recently read where it may possibly cause liver problems after prolonged use so I stopped it suddenly on Nov 2.

I took one 10mg dose of flexeril and it made me extremely confused. Words would come out of my mouth that I never inteded to say. It was horrible. The one dose lasted for a long time and it took about 3 days for the med to completely get out of my system. I will never in my life take that med again. I have horrid panic attacks when my pain is sky high for weeks and there is no end in sight for relief. I've now started to meditate and self hypnosis.

My observation is that reducing the sertraline dose eliminated the problem by 80% and that Flexeril, taken as prescribed, only, brought the reduction in twitching, at this early point, to 90%.

Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.

After a few years on Flexeril I was recently switched to Baclofen. It seems like Bacofen is the go-to drug for MS related spasicity. The wanted me to start out on 1/2 does for 7 days and go to the full dose after that. I made it three days on the 1/2 dose and couldn't take it anymore. Since it takes a while to get to therapeutic levels I was kept awake all night with TERRIBLE spasms, worse than usual, I had muscle weakness and I was puking my brains out.

I am afraid to take more than two since they are 800mg but it might affect me, if it doesnt work i think i will switch back to flexeril as i feel safer taking a higher dose, honestly just because of the size of the metaxalone pills, which i know means nothing but I heard flexeril is the strongest so if something will help maybe that will. I feel jealous of everyone who gets tired or even feels anything from these pills. I was even on 6 gabapentin 300mg a day and it did absolutely nothing.

m going to prescribed u some flexeril (muscle relaxer) which is a category B safe, because she said she took it while she was pregnant! So my intentions were to fill it the same day but I've been super busy with my bbyshwr and the pain is worse whn I'm putting on pants r underwear, rolling over I'm bed, r just lifting my legs.

I went to see the Ortho today and he prescribed 10mg hyro and 10 mg Flexeril until I can schedule PT again. I am going to make sure to go through all 3 weeks so that my cheap insurance will pay for an MRI. I had one a little over a year ago thatt revealed a bulged disc at L4 or L5...can't remember which. My insurance at that time paid with no questions. My question is this, I am taking so many meds that can cause drowsiness, I'm afraid I will be a zombie.

It looks like all the meds you are taking can cause drowsiness or fatigue except for maybe benicar. I took one dose of flexeril one time and slept for like 10 hours.

Feel like i cant breath, depressed and at times, i feel like want to rip my skins out. After many lab tests and adj. In dose in levo. My tsh level is now under normal range and is on 75mcg of levo. yet, after 4 months being good. Last 7 months been hell. Even now, i cant sleep due severe bloating and expanded skin. Is there any alternative or option to improve this condition? Ive heard of this med called, armour. Would this help with losing weight and improve over all condition?

has anyone ever had pvcs/pacs while on the muscle relaxant flexeril? for the last couple of months my constant pvcs have been actually somewhat manageable, or at least tolerable. then i was involved in a car accident and was prescribed flexeril 7 days ago. the palps started 30 mins after the first pill. i just thought it was stress from the accident and "oh great, the skips are back"...until they became debilitating, and my bp dropped to 90/50, where as it is usually 115/75.

You will be normal again......I would avoid the flexeril. Have you checked out the amino acids in the health pages?

I am new to this site, saw your post, and feel compelled to tell you about my experience with Flexeril. Several years ago I was having serious neck spasms, so my doctor prescribed Flexeril. I don't remember the milligram, it was standard, and I was to take 3 a day. The first day I took three, I found myself looking at my bottle of pain medication thinking about taking the whole bottle at once! I immediately threw the Flexeril in the trash.

i have had days when i was a lil more sore than usual, and just took another dose inbetween my regular 1 a day dose. then next day went back to normal. personally i dont think he needs anything else besides the subs, and maybe a lil babying by mom.you know hot packs cold packs, hot soup, icecream, candybar, popcorn.(disregard the food babble i just got home from work, starving, gotta go raid the fridge) good luck and hope hes feeling better and you too!

ve been on several different muscle relaxers including Skelaxin and Flexeril. Skelaxin did not help me at all but Flexeril did. The Flexeril worked great for many years until it stopped and I had to switch to a new med and that's when my Dr put me on the Soma. The Soma does work great but I struggle to keep it under control.
