flexeril klonopin

I am prescribed Fentanyl Patch 100mcg every 36 hrs, Diladid 8mg 2-3 daily, Percocet 7.5 4 daily, Norco 7.5 4 daily, klonopin 1mg 4x daily, Valium 10mg 2-3 daily, Flexeril 10mg 3x daily, Phenergan 25mg 2x daily. I now am down to taking 50mcg Fentanyl every 72 hrs, 1/2 so 4 mg of Diladid if needed 0-2 a day, 1/2 of Percocet so about 3.5 mg 1-2 daily, Norco 1/2 so 3mg 0-2x a day, Klonopin 1/2 or less so .5ish 2x a day, Valium 1/2 so 5.

I voted 5-10 but I don't take meds specifically prescribed for fibro. They are for the stuff that goes along with it.... singulair, xyzal, omnaris (chemical sensitivities and regular allergies) synthroid topamax (migraines) wellbutrin After being seriously overmedicated for 4 years before my dx....I'm also very careful about what meds I take and how they interact. I didn't have any luck with flexeril, amitriptyline or cymbalta. I took vioxx for years and felt great on it....

ve been on klonopin for a year now and to be frank I am just tired of taking medication. I am currently taking celexa, klonopin, ambien, and flexeril. I dont know if I am ready I will just have to see and find out. I am taking .5 a night instead of the 1 mg I was taking everyday. It is day three and I just feel a bit larthgic and had a nightmare last night that was quite vivid. Anyone who has been or is in the similiar situation as me please describe when I should expect symptoms.

m going again tomorrow to perhaps get off of flexeril and maybe get a monitor to take home. Has anyone had this happen to them when on Flexeril? I noticed that the skipped beats got worse with the supplements i'm on too but don't know if these should cause such an event.

Today I am going to start my taper off of vicodin which I have taken irresponsibly for over a year. I also take Fioricet, flexeril, and have been perscribed Zoloft which is about week 5. Also going through Klonopin withrawals which has made me shake like crazy. The zoloft increase caused me a week and a half of nausea which has finally subsided. I'm so scared. My two children are counting on me and like many, nobody knows what I'm really going through.

Tapered quickly off lortab (8 a day down to none) fioricet (5 a day down to none) klonopin (down to .5 from 4mg) and zoloft (150mg down to 75). Now I spend most of the day shaking inside and feeling terribly anxious. I have trazadone but it just makes me tired and anxious and flexeril which doesn't seem to do anything at all. Did I try to do to much at once? I'm starting to think I should have done one at a time....

Hi there. I was prescribed flexeril today for some back pain. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? If it is addicting? Will it make me sleepy/hyper, etc?

Does anyone know very much about Flexeril? I just received an call from someone that thinks they may have overdosed on it. He usually does not take it and took up to ten 10mg tablets today and feels somewhat out of it. 100mg in one shot shouldn't do too much should it? He is in No. CA and I'm in So. CA so I can't get to him. Should I be concerned about him not waking up? Apparently he took six of them yesterday and I read the half life is 1-3 days.

Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?

I have been on vicodin for a nexk injury since February. I started to see a pain doctor but I keep coming up short. It's ruining my life. I have kicked a worse addiction to oxyir several years ago. I have some klonopin 0.5mg, tizanidine and flexeril. I cant keep living this way. I'm not strong enough to taper down. Does anyone have any suggestions on things I could take. Last time I used neurontin but I don't have those this time. I haven't gotten the pain yet but I can sleep.

Hi Brandy and welcome to the pain management community. Many chronic pain patients take a benzodiazepine like Xanax or Valium to help manage chronic pain. Benzodiazepines are prescribed first line for anxiety/panic disorder. However, they are often prescribed off label as a muscle relaxer and/or sleep aid. Xanax has a very short half life, and therefore, I don't think it is the best therapeutic choice.

one of the lesser problematic muscle relaxers available. Didnt work well enough for me....I use flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) now and its both a lttle more effective and hard to have an addiction problem with.

I take other medications (Klonopin, Catapres, rhodiola and two others in clinical study) for it and have tried about 30 anti-Parkinsonian medications and couldn't tolerate them or they couldn't work. But to keep the question short and simple (dealing with known aspects of my disability) I recieved a list of medications that would be covered under my insurance and a few I hadn't heard of and hadn't tried.

I also take an NSAID and was on flexeril for a long time. I got off of Flexeril as it stopped working and also I have an arrthymia.I tried Tramadol and vicadin in the past and get insomnia from them and I don't want to go back to that level of a pain killer. Is there something inbetween? It isn't nerve pain the muscle relaxer first took the pain away after a couple of weeks.

soma is not for most people but it can be a problem for some...zanaflex, flexeril, baclofen are some muscle relaxers that could help with cramping and sleep....it is important to get ur sleep to make it thru the physical part of wd...good luck to u..there r also supps etc that can help..read thru the health pages..there is also an article in my journal about rls..

Thanks - yes, I did flush them. I've tried lyrica and cymbalta and they both raised my controlled hypertension to uncontrollable, so no luck there. I take klonopin & flexeril for sleep and they work fine. I just started about a week ago on effexor, I know it won't help with the pain, but hopefully it will help with my attitude. I stretch and swim which helps with the stiffness, it's just the pain in my joints is horrific at times as you know and it hurts to just barely move.

I already take medication for severe anxiety (klonopin, effexor 75mg once a day) I just want to know what kind of symptoms and how long I will have to deal with it. ANY AND ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

Alcohol and flexeril are both central nervous system suppressants and consuming alcohol while taking flexeril compounds the drowsiness, confused thinking, respiratory suppression of the muscle relaxant. Flexeril/alcohol combos are frequent causes of accidental overdose. I would avoid the alcohol while taking the flexeril completely. If you already were consuming alcohol, I would skip the flexeril for at least 12 hours or more, depending upon how much alcohol you consumed.

I started obsessing that I had ALS and would spend all day on the internet reading about ALS and thinking I was going to die a slow death. Then my Dr. took me off Lexapro and put me back on 100 MG of Zoloft with a little Klonopin to help with the transition. For 2-3 months, the twitches stopped. Now for the past month, my leg muscles are twitching a lot, especially at work in front of a computer. I'm now freaking out again.

Most sleep specialists warn that Benadryl can have some adverse effects on REM stage sleep. My neurologist suggested Flexeril or Zanafelx as better choices. I typically reach for 10 mg of Valium.

Flexeril is not addictive if you use it only when needed I took it for years for a bad back but you dont get hi on it so for the most part if taken as directed your ok just stay away from soma that is a different story...................................Gnarly.....................................

I have taken flexeril, could not take more than a 1/4 or I would feel very odd. Maybe that was a good thing. You can get a pill cutter and start cutting your dose. We aren't allowed to talk about how to dose hopefully you can get the jist of this. While trying to wean down I would up your vitamins. There is something called a Thomas Recipe but that is for narcotics,so not sure if it would work for you. Your muscles may need more magnesium than normal.

I have a question, I took a drug screen but I took flexeril, will flexeril make you fail a drug screen. Anyone that can help me I will be ever so greatful!!!

Muscle relaxants like carisoprodol (Soma), cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril), and even diazepam (Valium), and clonazepam (Klonipin) are not narcotic agents, although the last two are benzodiazepines. Ask your doc about dantrolene (Dantrium).

I am new to this site, saw your post, and feel compelled to tell you about my experience with Flexeril. Several years ago I was having serious neck spasms, so my doctor prescribed Flexeril. I don't remember the milligram, it was standard, and I was to take 3 a day. The first day I took three, I found myself looking at my bottle of pain medication thinking about taking the whole bottle at once! I immediately threw the Flexeril in the trash.
