Avatar f tn your menstrual cycle just changed and thats not normal. i have a friend who havent had her period 6months straight. and she is healthy. so no worries for you. your are IRREGULAR when it comes to your period. unlike me, im regular, never skipped a month. regardless of giving birth. the cramps thing, just excercise or do sit ups 2weeks or a week before tour period. if you dont know when your period will arrive, just do brisk walking or cardio excercises. :D hope this helps.

Avatar n tn A menstrual cycle starts with ovulating then your period so your menstrual cycle can start at any time generally if you are breastfeeding it comes 2 to 6 months after giving birth. So what I would recommend is have sex as much as possible because you have a 3 day period to get pregnant. And if you want to get pregnant as soon as possible try to get pregnant on your first menstrual cycle.
Avatar f tn Yes, it takes some women a few cycles after birth to get their normal cycle back on track. Give it another month or so.
Avatar f tn you most definatly could be pregnant, especially if your not brestfeeding and your cycles have returned, I would do a hpt and see how you go
937837 tn?1285350385 I thought after you got ones levels into range the menstrual cycle was supposed to normalize. I have had about 3 50 day cycles since I was diagnosed and started meds. Before my cycles were 37, 49, 34, stopped taking birth control in mid October. Was just wondering if anyone knows if this is normal for a women with hypothyroidism?
Avatar n tn Though it is possible that the white matter you saw is just left over matter from the embryotic sac and possibly even your baby after giving birth. Is there any possibility you could have become pregnant between the time after giving birth and the time before getting your depo shot? If so, I would definitely see your doctor to make sure your body is clear of any tissue that may or may not still be there. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn Whats happening to my cycle! At first i thought maybe and hopefully this is implantation bleeding for couple weeks i seemed to be waking up wanting to throw up, tired all the time, moody, headaches/dizziness spells, low in energy and crampy then a couple days ago my boobs got more tender and my nipples went darker and on the 26th (four days ago) I noticed i had a very light browny white dischage and by the next day it was abit darker with pink blood when i whipped that lasted only two times.

1607319 tn?1297963900 I had a Hysterocope and DNC done and my first menstrual cycle after the procedure has lasted for almost 3 weeks now. I'm on birth control because we were going to try IVF this month but it looks like that's not going to happen now because we can't find a medical lab covered through my insurance. I called my fertility doc and they said this was normal and not to come in. I'm really concerned and wonder if I should get a second opinion.
1147609 tn?1263583431 I had an early miscarriage in September (I was only 5 weeks pregnant) and my cycle was back to normal after one cycle (this was also when my first significant exacerbation started). It was right before Thanksgiving that I was diagnosed with MS and, in the middle of December, I started on Copaxone and Nuvigil. Over Christmas I was on three days of 1000mg of Medrol, followed by a taper pack. Is this normal for MS or is it probably just the drugs?

Avatar f tn I have been on my menstrual cycle for 3 weeks now and i'm starting to get worried. Should I be? I was in the hospital recently with an abscess in my throat and the day after I was released I started my period and it is now 3 weeks later and I am still bleeding and passing alot of clots. A friend told me it could be my body getting rid of all that infection from when I was in the hospital. I am still worried though. Can you give me some advice?? PLEASE????
Avatar f tn A woman with a light period is not gaining much thickness in her endometrial lining during the early part of the menstrual cycle. This is usually an indication that estrogen levels are lower than normal. If estrogen levels are low, progesterone levels are likely to also be low and a woman may or may not ovulate with her cycles.
