Brittle nails can also peel, I believe there was a question below in regards to this. As far as I know, nutritional deficiencies rather show as uneven surfaces of the nail bed.
i went to retina surgeon he show me the OCT scan of my right eye there was some uneven surface on the top and membrane( which was the white line in scan) beneath the surface was also uneven, he said i can peel off the top surface but there is no guarantee that you vision will improve because of damaged membrane.

s not blistered, but its reddish, uneven surface, and when I spread the skin, it looks flat and smooth. It is not as red as it was. I also had a very tiny spot 1/4 inch away, like a little island that came and disappeared in two days.

Other than a slightly longer recovery period, are there any other disadvantages to PRK? On the surface, at least, it would seem preferable to LASIK in that there is no corneal flap necessary. Rather, the epithelium is removed and discarded prior to the sculpting of the cornea, and afterward the epithelium is regenerated.

Title may be misleading, it isn't exactly like that. I will explain. I'm 20, eye exam 4 months ago - all great. When I get tired or wake up my vision will go misty/blurry for as long as I keep eye open, although once I blink/move eyes around so the tear film/mucus is gone - it instantly is normal again. I wake up with mucus in both eyes as well, also get this mucus slightly when tired/eyes dried out.
m a runner and recently got a pain on top of foot, as if my laces were too tight 9they may have been!) recently been doing a lot of off road running on uneven hard surface. it seems to be in the Extensor Hallucis Brevis area and there is a squashy lump the size of a smallish coin in that area, which isn't really painful to touch. If I loosen my laces in that area I can walk and do a bit of running without too much discomfort.
