I have never had herpetic whitlow, but I have had several cold sores lately and am scared that this may be the start of one. My finger does not hurt or tingle though. Does this sound like it may be very early stages of whitlow? I know a million things could be causing this mark, but just wanted to see if whitlow was something I could rule out, or if I should be concerned about it....

The nurse told me if you rub it on your hand it will feel slick if its your water not like as if it were actual water just in case for those women who pee themselves but think its their water.
