Hi I just want to know what can cause some or all of these combined symptoms, Hair thinning, lost of appetite, a few dark toenails but not all of them, 1 fingernail half light pink half light brown with vertical lines no ridges, wart on ball of both feet and lately some lost of taste (I'm thinking due to thin white film on tongue) I was a Severe smoker until recently when I stopped.

It is very sensitive to pressure and when I hit it head-on against something, even lightly, it hurts enough to cause me to shout. It is only the fingertip, not the joint. While it is very sensitive to pain, the fingertip feels slightly numb. It is only that one fingertip.

Over a period of months, I assumed that it was a fungus or yeast problem. After researching, I tried a number remedies – using miconazole, clotrimazole cream, and now monistat. Nothing worked – the sticky substance continued.
I am now considering the use of Neosporin cream (it could be an antibiotic cure rather then a fungus problem ?).

It's probably toe fungus. I know, ick. Easy over the counter remedies, ask your pharmasist what he/she recommends . Try to let your feet get air as much as possible. Good luck. If you have any other questions, I dealt with a fungal toenail infection off and on for years. I may have more ideas for you if this is what you are dealing with.
i dont know if it glows in the blacklight because it is flaking skin or because of a fungus? i can scratch off little pieces of skin. what could it be? its not red, its slightly lighter than my regular color even when i tan, i think maybe just because it is dead skin coming off? i work in a place with lots of blacklights so its kind if embarassing...also i am always cold so i bundle up a lot even though i live in fl. so my armpits are probably ideal for a fungus.
They look whitish and when I scrape them off with a paper towel or my fingernail it is not red or bleeding underneath. It feels like skin when I scrape it out and touch it with my fingers. Does this sound like thrush? Does thrush feel like skin when touched? My mouth has been excessively dry for the past year, I have to sip water constantly and chew sugar free gum. Could it just be caused by the dry mouth? I tested negative for HIV a year ago on rapid tests.

No apparent necrosis, but the fingernail has separated and also *appears* to be infected with fungus. She has had IV antibiotics twice as well as antibiotic and antifungal pills, and it was non-responsive to the drugs. Tested negative for MRSA. Finger hurts and is pinkish-red. It is dry with no discharge.
one of them had the same width as the others, but was about three times as long. i was able to remove two of them with my fingernail, they looked like little black pepper flakes. i was able to get most of the long one, but a cant get the remaining particle, and the fourth one seemed to be imbedded. the pthers easily popped out with a little jostling.
