In November of 2009 we moved our store location and found a month or so after moving that there was black mold in the basement. Over the course of a year I became sick and fatigued to the point of leaving my place of work until she moved to anew building. I filed Workmens Comp. My question is because I already had COPD they are saying that it is emphysema progressing in my lungs. My question is how can you find out if the mold is in your lungs, and down the road will show up as Cancer.

I cant say for sure if this is the case for all patmers since there might be multiple types of patm, but at least for me the things that helped me was getting rid of sebum and not fungus or mold. I think that even if patm was mold or fungus, it wouldnt matter if a lot of things were derived, contained, or are mold/fungus because it wouldnt affect the specific type of mold that causes patm.
Antibiotics from the doctors comes from fungus, citric acid in our foods is derived from black mold and plus it functions as an antibiotic, which destroys all of our good bacteria.
We have too much mold exposure and we are not cleaning it out fast enough.
What we could have is an opportunistic fungi.

I was exposed to mold from faulty pipes from my furnace,blowing airborn mold into a room, for over the month, so who knows how much mold is now growing, for all that condensation. I tried to spray the surface mold with bleach water, so can't see what else is growing on unseen surfaces! Any advice? What are you both going to do. Have been very sick, but didn't connect to mold.

He prescribed a urea nail stick to aid with the fungus like matter under the fingernail. I keep it trimmed back to allow for new nail growth, but it gets to a certain point and develops this gross looking end to it. Any idea why it's taking so long for the nail to regenerate, or is this an indication of a possible underlying cause?
no no ,, my nails kinda look normal but thier is about 15 or so ridges they are like groves and its not a fungus , acctually I got a fungus several years ago and this thing killed it , it took a year to do it and the nail had a horizontal line as the fungus grew off,, and i've seen the pitcher in a magizine of what I have ,, and the drops were just 19.

Mold is reffeered to an outside or inside house fungus.Candida or other human fungus its not called mold.Studies say mold as its outside fungus can never live in human body.But i really doubt it.Lets be clear,PATM is not a recognised term by medical community,the same medical community who disagree the term of systemic candida infection and deny the notes of other doctors that noted patients can develops allergies to their candida.

The next time it happened was years later I found out I was sleeping next to mold in my room and felt horrible. This was also a fungus in my digestive tract, still haven't gotten rid of that yet.... Cut off the loose nail portion close to the skin without cutting into the skin. A pair of fingernail nippers or fingernail scissors work best. Then brush on pure tea tree oil a couple of times a day.
They did a blood test for mold and it came back i was right about the mold, they said i was allergic to mold and dust. They gave me medacine for the breathing, symbicort and some depression pills. The breathing has got a little better but not 100% but the chest pains are still there. The pain is mostly in the middle of my chest. I just want to know if this is normal with an allergic reaction/exposure to mold?
2) Hubby feels we can’t see or smell the mold and that the spore levels of 264 (after air purifying BTW) are so low they should not be the cause of my symptoms. Are the "spores" the only aspect of mold that acts as an allergen or irritant?
I want the air quality people to come back out & test the inside of the bench because I want to know what's in there.
