My are brittle and cracking. One tonenail has nasty fungus and split to the bed n bleeding. I have to wear little slip ons n soft boots, it's so painful. Dr said it's jus part of treatment. Let us know what the Dr says. Missing my heels..

So about 2 weeks ago (after putting a cuticle out) the base of my fingernail got infected its red and swollen doesnt hurt much but when i touch it, then about a week ago i began to have these little white bumps on my finger tips they very in size but none bigger than 1/16in, they have now sped to some of my palm, they have no liquid in them they are only white and they open easly when scrached but they do not itch or hurt, my guess is i touched something im aleric to but i have never really been

What do the lines look like and are they colored? If you have fingernail fungus the topicals don't work. You would have to take a prescription oral drug (Lamisil) for three months then it kills the nail. I just went through this with my toe nail. The nail is usually yellowish.

He prescribed a urea nail stick to aid with the fungus like matter under the fingernail. I keep it trimmed back to allow for new nail growth, but it gets to a certain point and develops this gross looking end to it. i hav been asked to use mycoral cream for a suspected fungus on my labia by a doctor.. i used it yesterday after washing and patting dry..but after some time.. an hour or so that area became wet.. it wasnt dry.. why is this?

I have a groin fungus. It does not itch but can be moderately painful. I have been treated with Nystatin, Ketoconazole, Clotrimazole, Clotimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate, fluconazole and itraconazole, one at a time over many months. The red inflamed area has still not gone but is not painful anymore.. I have seen an internest, a dermatologist and an infectious disease specialist. Any suggestions?

i have this very itchy rash or fungus. its growing from my stomach to right abouve my penis. my penis and testicles itch to the point that i have scratched some skin off. i did go to my doctor. i was given ketoconozol and it is not working. i also put some other fungal creams on it.. it a great big red spot. and where ever else it is its just red and itchy. can u help please..

I think you need to see a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. It might be caused by a fungus or bacteria. If you can't see a doctor, you could try putting 10 drops of tea tree oil into a mild liquid soap and cleansing daily. It smells like tourpentine, but it kills fungus and bacteria.

Both ringworm and yeast infection are fungus. in fact one of the very best treatments for ringworm is monostat mixed with hibiclense I am not a medical pro, but I did rescue 3 infested kittens 4 years ago and my hairless dogs got ringworm. from that i learned the ringworm spores can live many months. As already stated, jock itch is caused by a fungus. Yeast is a fungus. And yes, most importantly, jock itch can have an odor similar to what you are describing.

for a month and a half now I've been experiencing a real bad itch under my scrotum.I read around the internet and it says it could be a fungus.I had jock itch on my groin about 5 months ago but I treated it with ketaconazole which was prescribed by my doctor and it went away.After that episode I've had occasional itching on my scrotum but not as bad as I've had it recently and I'm thinking maybe the jock itch has slowly infected my scrotum.

They vary in size from about the largest being a fingernail in size and the smallest maybe like a mole. They dont itch or hurt at all. The small ones i guess are somewhat pimple like and the larger ones are just slightly raised (think of like a burn mark w/o the puss). Wondering if these will go away naturally or if I need to see the doctor.

So about three years ago during wrestling season i first noticed this fungus on my groin. The sides of my scrotum were red and very itchy. When itched my skin would flake and fall off.
