Similar situation with big toe. Caused by constant pressure against shoe end during sporting activity.

hydrogen peroxide, as long as it's diluted with water, is safe and fine to use. Even ask your doctor. Salt water would work better, or they actually sell stuff for your mouth to get rid of canker (sp?) sores, and blisters and all that.
There is somthing similar to oragel that is good for it. Ask a pharmacist, and they can point it out in the store, since i'm drawing a blank on the name.

yesterday I was playing with my 2 years old child in the park, and suddenly he just fell down on the grass. He put his hand in some red substance, and then put this hand in his mouth. I was very scared, and thinking that this could be blood. I went to my car, and get some hydrogen peroxide 3%. Put this on that red substance and it didn't react to hydrogen peroxide (no bubble, foaming, nothing became white).
My question is what color if any at all do supposed herpes bumps look like when Hydrogen Peroxide is put on them.

I'm a 27 year old male, never had a reaction like this. The skin on the tip is peeling off, and my doctor doesn't know what it could be.. It's peeling in circular-outward pattern from urethra and slowly gaining more ground. The skin underneath seems fine, though the peeling skin has a white-ish color, and there is a small red dot on the underside.
Any opinions on what could be causing this? I recently put hydrogen peroxide in the area, could I have burned the skin?
You must be sure to use three percent peroxide and not hair coloring strength peroxide. The appropriate dose of hydrogen peroxide is one teaspoon per 10 pounds of body weight.
Alternatively salt and water would work, but do not use syrup of ipecac.

If you have an oral syringe, one teaspoon equals 5 cc or 5 ml. Once given, walk your dog around or gently shake the stomach area to mix the peroxide with the stomach contents. Vomiting should occur within 15 to 20 minutes.
