Avatar f tn //www.healthline.com/health/home-remedies-for-toenail-fungus Tree Tea oil is very popular, for example. Really important that if you shower in a shower that others use that you wear shower shoes. They can actually get your toe fungus otherwise. Medication for fungus may help the other spots on your foot which could be athlete's foot. You could try your cream on that or the tree tea oil and if your doctor will prescribe medication, that would likely help.

I keep it trimmed back to allow for new nail growth, but it gets to a certain point and develops this gross looking end to it. Avatar f tn Cut off the loose nail portion close to the skin without cutting into the skin. A pair of fingernail nippers or fingernail scissors work best. Then brush on pure tea tree oil a couple of times a day.
Avatar m tn t remember injuring it in any way, although there is a small dark purple spot just beneath the very tip of the fingernail. It is very sensitive to pressure and when I hit it head-on against something, even lightly, it hurts enough to cause me to shout. It is only the fingertip, not the joint. While it is very sensitive to pain, the fingertip feels slightly numb. It is only that one fingertip. Like I said, I don't remember injuring it and it hasn't been improving.

Avatar n tn I get acid reflux several times a month....its usually will last about a week and then its ok for a week or so...sometimes I don't have it for months and then its back. Anyway, I don't take meds except an occasional pepcid, which usually doesn't work. I have heard about home remedies such as apple cider vinegar (which sometimes works, but not always) Does anyone know anything else. I hate to take prescription drugs if I don't have to.
