fingernail biting

I am getting white spots on my inner cheeks. Sometimes they are easy to wipe off. Other times it takes a bit of effort with my fingernail. When the white stuff comes out it has the consistency of mucous or a booger. Sometimes my cheeks look pink but I can rub my nail across it and I will get a bunch of this white mucous like substance on my finger. This happens all throughout the day I can clear this stuff out of my mouth. The spots don't really look like the pictures on the Internet.

Does anybody know any home remedies I can use for them to stop biting us ?? I used mouth wash and baby oil but that didn't work either.

I have a small fingernail cut on my index finger (from biting a nail and pulling it off) its over a day old but still painful, I went to my colleagues keyboard and helped them out on a task...by inputting some data for them. Now I didnt notice any blood or for any reason believe there was any blood present from my colleague...but just say they had recently bled on the keyboard and I had typed etc after...would there be any chance of infection by this means?

the other guy got hold of my ear with his hand. Later when I got home I saw blood on my ear. i had some (3-4) fingernail cuts on my ear and there was dried blood over it. I washed my ear and went to bed. When i woke up in morning I realized that it could have caused an HIV infection because he may be having blood on fingernails from nail-biting . I do not know the the other guy and i have absolutely no idea about his HIV status. But I am too worried about getting an infection like this.

It could have been caused by a number of things, your fingernail digging into his penis, him pushing too hard...ect...I wouldn't worry. But yes, a hickey can show up anywhere where there are blood vessels...pretty much your entire body.

So this is a weird situation but a friend of an unknown HIV status squeezed my cheek quite hard and her fingernail somehow scratched part of my mouth from the inside. Since she bites her nails, there might have been blood on them that could've come in contact with the cut she made on my mouth. Two weeks post this I developed joint and muscle aches all over my body, and diarhea (although only once, than the stool was back to normal).

Could this be a type of fingernail material growing from the scalp? The physical consistency of this 'hair' strongly resembles that of a fingernail. Extensive searching the net has found nothing. Surely my daughter is not the only case like this. I read about keratin, but it seems the keratin in hair and nails is the same.

Fingering is not a risk of HIV transmission cut with a fingernail or not.

Hey there, Am I at risk of any serious disease if I get a very mild scratch from some other man's fingernail? This happened to me a few days back while travelling in a train.
