m not sure if that is true in your life or not...as for the cold weather...I know when I am in the cold all my joints stiffen and ache so I'm sure it is a factor as well. Another factor in Nov. is lack of sunshine which brings down the Vitamin D count and frankly, causes me to feel a little depressed...which does not help the pain. Have you tried taking Vit D supplements?

I have noticed over the last 2 days my hands are swelling up and itching really badly my hands never swell even in hot or cold weather but my wedding ring is extremaly tight and I can not get it off but it's the itching too Anyone know what this could be I'm 36 weeks 2 days Thanks

m a 46 yo male, first the ball of my left foot started to swell and itch like crazy, then the right side of my right foot started to itch and swell with end an hour of each other, the next day my top lip swelled up for 12 to 16 hours, took Benadryl when I went to bed, but the swelling was still there in the morning...

Those parts where i have pain has no swelling and color change. when i fell pain in my finger joint when i press forcefully, it sounds and i got relief at that particular area.And at those particular muscles with pain when i try to massage it i fill pain with some relief. Please any one who can help me ?what can i do natural,medical or exercise? i see my doctor three times and he gave me neurovit ,Endometacin .for the time being i got relief for 2 weeks but it comes again.

A few wks ago while I had a cold symptom, I found the swelling in my thyroid area (Right side only). No special symptoms except the swelling. One night, with fever and pain in upper soft area of the back of inside of the mouth, I found more swellings in the same area. I took a cold medicine with antiinflammatory. Next morning the swelling looked much better. Later, I found a little rigid area in thyroid area, right in the neck bone area. I saw ENT doctor.

I'm in Illinois. We're supposed to have a snow storm tomorrow. So not looking forward to that lol. And I just noticed I'm leaking colostrum so I'm sure being wet around that area isn't helping. I have some pads I'm gonna try to use when it gets colder. But Minnesota is definitely colder than Illinois. I'm so sorry lol.

I live in Northern Minnesota...I know how cold it can get, but I also know how much my dogs love to go outside, Many times, all they do is stand out there and sniff the air for 1 or 2 minutes..they seem to LOVE IT...They always come back in the house more alert than when they left, and with renewed sense of vigor..! I agree - rainy or cold. I used to love rainy weather, Winter and Autumn, but not so much anymore. And I suppose it depends on the temp either direction. I've never liked all the heat of summers, but now I'll get really faint/dizzy sick if it gets up in even the high 80's for too long.

But I still have numbness in the pinky finger and it feels cold compared to other 3. Also tip of the pinky finger hurts a lot and I see a tiny red spot on the nail. What exactly is going on? I have sensation and i can also move that finger. Its just the tip that hurts.

Maybe it may be because you aren't used to cold weather and your finger is reacting to it

I developed swelling in my fingers in both hands this winter. It is perfectly symmetrical and located in the fatty tissue before my knuckle where my finger meets my hand. Does anybody have any advice on nonnarcotic help for thee pain, swelling, and stiffness of joints in this weather especially?? I use hot packs and heating pad which seems to help, but I'm still uncomfortable. My ankles imparticulalarly have decided to swell up and despite elevating them won't go down even with my lasix.(water pill). Any ideals for decreasing swelling would be greatly appreciated.

and the colder it is for me with EDS the more pain I have...so rain in the summer is not as painful as snow in the winter as the cold just makes all my joints hurt.

I'm a 47 yo male and have only had heartburn a couple times previously in my life and never severe. When this first started happening I went to the ER because it was so sever one night that I thought I was having a heart attack. This was the first time I had gotten it in years. After a battery of heart tests nothing was found to be wrong with my heart-- Strong like bull!

what if you have the opposite effect and I have to take mine off because they won't stay ON!!! I was doing laundry this afternoon and I freaked out because I lost them in the clothes! I can't get mine to stay on my ring finger....My fingers aren't swelling but shrinking....I'm 35 weeks this Saturday...I'm thinking of just wearing them...
