The nail is all orange except for the cuticle. Other fingers on the same hand are now getting a hint of orange. Is there a home remedy for this or do I need to see an MD.?
I have also noticed a decrease when I spent a week up north in Ely, but home in Minneapolis, they swell daily quite badly. While it is normal for most women, it also can be a sign of blood pressure issues. Your doctor will check this . My doctor monitored swelling. She'd put her finger into it and it pitted (imprint of her finger stayed for a bit), that was more concerning.
Hi all, recently diagnosed with Achilles tenosynovitis, and treatment of celebrex is not doing the trick. Not using it normally but cannot rest 24/7. Was not given crutches, concerned my weight (I'm about 40 lbs overweight) is hindering my recovery. Still in pain, limping and have some swelling - all docs told me it should be normal in a few days with the celebrex. I'm traveling and cannot afford to be immobile.
Your description sounds to be that of an early balanophosthitis. This type of skin infection is more common in diabetic uncircumcised males. Roll the skin back and wash your penis daily (providone iodine soap would be best, I think) Dry the area well (pat it dry) and apply baby powder. Do this several times for day and, most importantly, get better control of your blood sugar.
If this becomes a recurring problem, you should have a circumcision.

Two years later it began to turn bright red and hurt really bad. They found that I had started to grow a second finger (or bone) underneath my my finger. The best description of it would be a bone spur.
I went thru ANOTHER surgery to get the bone removed before it could really hurt me. The bone came out and measured 2 and a half inches long.
I am at my computer and all of a sudden my middle right finger started shaking crazily. It never did that again. As far as I know I am in excellant health for 65. I take 10 mg Lipator and allergy over the counter remedys, I do have sleep apthea but am on CPAP therapy. I have a complete physical every year with a six month follow up. Blood pressure has always been excellant. I have been very tired the last couple of days, but attributed it to the Clariton and Benedryl. Any thoughts?
