If you have a broadbased disc bulge both hands can be effected.Usually there is arm aching/pain anytime with radiculopathy. Carpal Tunnel also starts while sleeping and effects both hands-usually one more than the other.You would need EMG testing and an evaluation of your cervical MRI to see if that is the cause. Pinky finger doesn't go numb with either condition.

You have not mentioned your age, if you are elderly there is chances of having inflammation of the bone in the nerve route causing pain in the fingers. There is possibility of some pressure on brachial plexus while sleeping pressure giving rise to nerve route
pain.

s most likely round ligament pain. I had it really bad w my last baby. I would almost come to tears from the pain when I rolled out of bed, moved suddenly, sneezed (that was the worst). Unfortunately it's very normal when prego & won't go away until U give birth. Look it up online so it's easier to visualize where the ligaments are. Think of the ligament as a rubber band any sudden movement it will pull & snap back and hurt U.
Do you have any neck or shoulder pain to go along with this? If not, it could be Carpal Tunnel syndrome.
And CPAP might cause my eye very dry that caused real pain. So I wore the eye sleeping patch but the pain occurred under the patch. This week one early morning I removed my CPAP when I needed to go to the pot. I went back to bed but I did not put CPAP back. I went back to sleep. Two hours later the pain stabbed my eyeball and this time I was aware when it hurt before I opened my eyelids. Now I know I do not sleep with eyes open. There is something else new.
Over the past month while I am sleeping and I turn over I get pain in my right knee. Once I settle after the turn it goes away and I fall back to sleep. I also get some pain in my right shoulder at the same time. On several occasions I was not able to get back to sleep right away.
Any suggestions for the cause and how to fix it so I can sleep thru the night.?
t say it, but I have a technique to detect it which consists of inserting a finger as deep as I can in my throat, then leaving it for a few seconds to dry up. If the finger smells horrible (and it does), I'm pretty sure my breath does too.
I have very good oral hygiene, use a powerful mouthwash, but I'm still quite sure my breath from deep inside will smell bad.
However, there is ONE thing that helps: taking metronidazole pills.

So I started to work at my new job about 50ish days ago.
A couple weeks back after finishing a job site while resting and sleeping my right hand would feel like it's falling asleep but not my entire hand, it would be selectively And randomly my fingers. For exp my index and middle finger would feel numb and slightly painfully, thwn 15 minutes later my pinky And middle then my thumb and ring finger theny ringer and pinky.

It also hurts to stretch my fingers out (laying flat is okay, but if I try to stretch them at all, it hurts). It also hurts to press downward while the finger is flat (scrubbing a counter-top or picking up a heavy book both hurt significantly). Now, two more fingers on my left hand have begun to progress exactly the same way with exactly the same pain.
I was diagnosed with MS in August of this year and this finger pain was one of the earliest symptoms after I fainted in Feb (but had no idea that was anything serious) - I went to a rheumatologist for the finger pain and he couldn't find anything but did think I had carpal tunnel and the nerve test for that is what started me on the path to a MS diagnosis.
Doesn't your chest close up when sleeping on your back? if I sleep on my back, within minutes I'll get hot, sweaty and dizzy!
Since I was a child, and until now (27years old) about once every three months or maybe more, I will have a frightening experience while sleeping. Once I'm asleep, sometimes it feels like my head will get really heavy and there will be a deep low humming sound in my head or maybe a train sound that seems to paralyze my entire body, however once this feeling of heaviness occurs, I wake up internally, but my eyes are not open and I can hear everything going on around me.
