I was pulling open my cars jammed ashtray, it was stuck so I pulled harder and my 2 fingers....
There is a clear swelling in the area obvious on touching and is sensitive to pressure. Gripping things tightly or pressing the nodule causes pain. I do not appear to have any limitations in mobility of the finger at the moment although there are the few occasional moments when I have felt some discomfort while typing.
My GP believes it is a swelling of the tendon and sheath which is a precursor to trigger finger.
Trigger finger treatment varies depending on its severity and duration. Symptoms of trigger finger develop when the ring, middle, or index finger attempts to flex closed while gripping. Stretching, ice, and anti-inflammation medications should be tried to start with. Steroid injections like cortisone are used as a treatment for trigger finger. Surgery is the last option to remove the scar tissue.

This is associated with catching, snapping or locking of the involved finger flexor tendon, resulting in inability to move the finger and pain. The diagnostic thing is that you can unlock the lock and start the finger functioning again. Treatment is by injecting steroid into the tendon. If that fails, this can be surgically corrected. I cannot pinpoint the exact cause of the injury. about six weeks ago I noticed shooting pain when i pushed the middle finger laterally while isolated from the other fingers across the sides of the knuckle. I also feel sharp pain when making a tight fist in the main knuckle or gripping my hand tightly around the grip on a weight.
I have had fibromyalgia for the last two years and I started to develop another symptom that is really strange. Since I started exercising again when I wake up in the middle of the night I cannot bend my fingers and my hand is in alot of pain. Usually by morning when I'm moving around more they start to loosen up and I don't have any pain. I do notice when I do any exercise with my arms and shoulders my hands and fingers hurt. Anyone else had this problem?
I have had trigger-finger surgery left middle due to repetative gripping action due to my occupation. I cannot extend finger backwards, cannot place fingers together, get incredible undesrible pain simply doing nothing. Sometimes pain shoots up inside of my palm through my forearm to elbow almost like electrical shock. It is swollen-surgery performed 2/15. I am following exercises doctor advised to no avail. Not on any medication except ibuprofen.
its often swollen and i noticed a bruise on the top of my hand in that area today. i had an xray when the pain started and they saw nothing. it does not seem to be improving although definitely gets irritated upon use, unfortunately it being my right hand there is not much i can do to limit the use. i experience weakness when gripping lifting turning with the hand and there is sharp pain in between the two knuckles that stretches into the hand.
Not too long after the injury I developed a lump/bump on the inside of the PIP joint tha faces anatomically towards the middle finger, clicking sensation in this bump area when bending the finger, pain when bending and now pain into top of hand. Also tingling feeling in lump area.
Finally after 9 months after the injury my family doctor referred me to a sports medicine doctor. He took an xray and you could see a lump on the inside of the PIP joint. Not huge but visible on xray.
s not rhythmic and occurs here and there, sometimes during rest, sometimes when I am gripping something not too tightly, and just now I put my hands behind my head and could feel it. It almost feels "nervey" if that makes any sense. It's now been occurring for the past 2-3 days. I do exercise as much as I can with having a new baby around :-) and I also just started using hand grippers for strengthning so don't know if that has triggered anything or not.
(Not center chest, but left side mostly.) When the pain starts, it is much worse when I try to inhale. It is relieved when I slow down or stop - but not immediately. I have had a test (forgot the name) 2 years ago and Dr. said I have tricuspid regurg, but this should not be causing the pain. She said all things looked clear but to check it again in a year. Since this injury I get burning pain in the palm of my hand below the little and ring finger. Increased numbness in little and ring finger. If I bend my elbow send electrical shock/sensation up my arm to the wrist. The incision area in my elbow does have some mild burning but palm of hand is worse. I had horrible pain in my bottom knuckle on my thumb, and now the knuckles in my middle and ring finger are hurting.

So for about a week now when I lay down at night my right arm mainly will go completely numb like I'm getting no blood flow to it. So I'll have to sit up and shake my arms to get the feeling back. So at first I thought I just slept on them wrong that night but it has done it every night since. Now even throughout the day my arms ache so bad from the elbow down that it hurts to do anything that I have to use arm strength.

Someone recently performed oral sex on me, during this they for some reason started gripping my penis very hard, squeezing it hard. This sometimes lasted for upto 20 seconds over a few minute period.
