finger pain pregnancy

I'm just over 34 weeks. For the last week or so, I've been waking up in the middle of the night and morning to really bad finger pain that lasts for aw hile! It's hard to bend my fingers and sometimes they make a popping feeling when I bend them. Middle three fingers on each hand are the worst. During the day, they're not "as" sore, but still a little. I can't seem to find anything about this in my baby books. My hands don't look swollen. Anyone else have this??

my daughter just woke at 2 am vomiting, we have been to a party were there was finger food. im 29 weeks pregnant and have stomache pain and cant sleep although im not vomiting i feel as though the baby is very active and unsettled. should i be worried about the baby?

It's horrible! The tips of my finger tips started getting to me today! I'm a paralegal so I type alllllll day which doesn't help whatsoever & when I type, my finger tips feel raw! Lol I feel horrible complaining but I just want to enjoy my pregnancy (my first) & all I seem to do is get irritated with the pain! Glad I'm not the only one! :) sorry for you too! It *****!

Hi. Does anyone experience finger and wrist pain? I'm 21 weeks and I have been having these pains for the last two weeks.

I was diagnosed with MS in August of this year and this finger pain was one of the earliest symptoms after I fainted in Feb (but had no idea that was anything serious) - I went to a rheumatologist for the finger pain and he couldn't find anything but did think I had carpal tunnel and the nerve test for that is what started me on the path to a MS diagnosis.

I took pain medication in the beginning of my pregnancy. Than for my well being and my childs i stopped taking them. Yes i was in horrible pain didnt want to move or get off the couch and now im 27w6days and i still feel the effects. Maybe try subutex to get you off the pain medication .... just untill you have your child.

Found out that I had a ectopic pregnancy on 2/11/08 was given the methotrexats shot on 2/12/08. Since then I have had some uterine contractions but no bleeding. In addition since then I have been experiencing what feels like muscle spasms down my left arm. The pain is in the inside and travels from my shoulder to my hand. The pain is getting worse is this by chance one of the side effects of the medication or could I be having a heart attack? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Oh no. I've had this. Not related to pregnancy but in general, I've had this. What helps when not pregnant is stretching, a heating pad, ibuprofen. When pregnant . . . stretch and try the heating pad and hope baby moves. You are really early to have sciatica due to the baby (who is super tiny at this point). Hope this gets better fast.
