It is only on my left hand, and only my middle finger tip and pointer finger tip are effected. It’s not complete loss of sensation/ feeling either it’s just in certain areas of both finger tips. And they’re wrinkled like an older persons skin looks, and I’m only 19 so I know it’s not my age.

Hi, welcome to the forum, your symptoms are suggestive of paresthesia of limb. It can be due to nerve compression which can be due to carpal tunnel syndrome. This occurs due increased pressure on the nerve secondary to hereditary, hypothyroidism, obesity etc. The other possibilities are diabetes, vitamin B5 and B12 deficiency and fibromyalgia. You need to undergo evaluation like thyroid status, blood sugar, CSF analysis and certain serological tests.

march 2013 I started experiencing extreme lower back pain of unknown origin and weight loss. march 16th I found an inflamed inguinal lymph node right side. stabbing pain localized under my right rib. The pain extended down the inside and back side if my right leg. entire abdominal section on my right side started aching but the localized stabbing pain under my right rib. bed ridden since march 18th. BP average 113/153.

The title of your post mentions fingertips. What's the symptom related to your fingertips? Do you have numbness anywhere?

I'm just over 34 weeks. For the last week or so, I've been waking up in the middle of the night and morning to really bad finger pain that lasts for aw hile! It's hard to bend my fingers and sometimes they make a popping feeling when I bend them. Middle three fingers on each hand are the worst. During the day, they're not "as" sore, but still a little. I can't seem to find anything about this in my baby books. My hands don't look swollen. Anyone else have this??

I am 35 and have chest pain, arm and leg pains. I am back and forth to the ER and family practice only to hear I have anxiety and acid reflux. I often get knots in my right chest and then heavy feelings of pressure and tightness. I have a hard time swallowing at times as well.

I cut the knuckle of my R index finger on a deli/meat slicer 2 days ago, The ER dr said I had a layer of fat over the muscle left over the bone & that was it. I got 12 stitches. The dr didn't think I cut the tendon b/c I could move my index finger although I had a lot of pain. He diagnosed it as a AVULSION INJURY.

After surgery now both my ringfinger, little finger and that outer side of my hand are totally numb. I am also experiencing pain in the palm of my hand so bad that I have to take Ultram or Hydracodone. This is not like me to take medication for pain as it knocks me out (ex: OTC tylenol puts me to sleep). I haven't been able to work since my surgery. My question is: Is the numbness normal? What could be going on to make it numb and that I am having so much pain?

I would be concerned if the pain is sudden,severe, lasts for a few seconds but occurs repeatedly throughout the day. There are no associated symptoms of visual loss, blurring of vision,ringing in the ears, eye tearing or redness. Differentials for this will be musculoskeletal or arthritic pain, a tension headache with migraine component and cervicogenic headaches or headaches secondary to spine disorders. In your case, the primary consideration may be musculoskeletal pain.

In the past month i have been having sharp shooting pains in the head and radiating throughout my skull. lasting for about 30 sec to about 5 minutes. also have been getting loss of feeling in a finger. they have all became numb and cold. But only one at a time. Doesnt matter on the weather either. Also ear pain and clear liquid draining from them in the mornings.

The strong pain runs down firstly my right leg and then my left leg and is relieved by sitting and that way I can avert the loss of feeling in them and therefore avert collapsing. I can walk for about 30 minutes before I have pain in my legs and stand for about 15 minutes and the pain is always relieved by sitting. You may need to have some counseling, or mental support, as alopecia can be mentally devastating. Patchy hair loss can lead to total loss of hair on the head and the rest of the body, but it cannot hurt you physically. You may want to look into alternative methods to alleviate symptoms, but are not guaranteed to work.

Wow, you described me all most exactly with most of those symptoms. that's amazing! You said you had a finger swelling with pain. Was it one finger or multiple. I've had my middle finger in my left finger swelling for over a year now. The doctors said it was psoriatic arthritis, but it's just one finger (and yes I do have psoriasis which has gotten a heck of a lot worse and spread over the last year).

I was diagnosed with MS in August of this year and this finger pain was one of the earliest symptoms after I fainted in Feb (but had no idea that was anything serious) - I went to a rheumatologist for the finger pain and he couldn't find anything but did think I had carpal tunnel and the nerve test for that is what started me on the path to a MS diagnosis.

You may have cut nerves which would explain the loss of feeling. You probably need to get a second opinion on this finger i would be worried also.

i feel completely wiped out (as if i havent slept in weeks). around an hour after i wake up i feel an uncontrollable feeling of doubt as well as so many others. No matter what i try to do to stimulate my mind to make myself start off right, nothing works. Its no later than an hour after i wake up it feels like ive been up for the last 6 days. im irritable, confused by my surroundings, my stomach hurts and my body hurts, (often times ive thrown up).

I would also like to know if you have some sort of anxiety disorders because all sorts of anxiety disorders will effect your urogenital system.
