Avatar f tn I fell at a baseball game around 6 weeks ago, I fell on my hand and fingers were bent back under me. I had x-rays done and have 2 small fractures in Pinki finger, However, My pointer finger 2ND joint is twice the normal size, skin keeps peeling off, and I can't fully straighten it out. Also, the back of my hand and palm swell when I use them for a period of time. The pain in my hand is about a 6 on pain scale. I have been to the Dr. twice now. I ice it and massage it as best I can tolerate.
16891434 tn?1452219472 For about 7 or 8 months I have been cracking the joints and knuckles in my fingers. Now when I lower my middle finger on my left hand there is a little pop and the finger moves down a bit. And since i had also been cracking my toes the toes on my right foot make a pop too. I am kinda worried because I am only 13. Please help.
Avatar f tn It feels like i need to pop it! ( Keep in mind, in school with my friends, they thought it was cool to pop their joints and I never would) So when I roll my wrist, it grinds and throws out huge pops. My doctor put a wrist splint on me but that did nothing. Not long after it moved up into my shoulder, on the same side(Right) Underneath my scapula is a very disturbing, painful grind and popping noise. When i sit at a table for a long period of time it gets worse and worse.

Avatar f tn her hip, knee, ankle, wrist, finger joints. Now at 18 years she has been having excruciating pain in her left hip with it frequently "popping out" and causing her to fall. An orthopedist was giving her steroid shots into the hip area where the nerve is and giving her Percocet which doesn't even help at all. He says she has Meralgia Paresthetica and MRI and CT scan show nothing but thickened nerve and soft tissue damage, swelling in the area.

Avatar f tn Hey, I have had the worst joint pain this last week. Like it is in my finger joints, my knees, my elbows, my toes... I have never had anything like this before and I am only nineteen years old. It literally feels like I have arthritis lol. I have no pain in my muscles or anywhere else...only my joints. I've noticed that I mostly feel it when I wake up in the morning or am coming off of oc. Has this happened to you guys? Do you think it is just because of the oc? Or something more serious?
Avatar f tn Are his joints supposed to click? She ever tell you why they are clicking?
Avatar n tn As a result, the tendon becomes momentarily stuck at the mouth of the tunnel as the finger is extended. A pop may be felt as the tendon slips past the tight area. This why pain and catching may be felt as the finger is moved. Symptoms of trigger finger usually start without any injury. Symptoms may include the presence of a small lump, pain in the palm, swelling, and a catching or popping sensation in the finger or thumb joints.
Avatar f tn I'm a 28 year old female and I have been having swelling, stiffness and pain of my right index finger knuckle for over 2 years. It started off as a little right itchy bump on my knuckle (it kind of looked like a welt) and it felt like it was on fire. I noticed it would flare up when it would rain and there was high humidity. From there it has progressed to swelling and it is usually stiff. It has been swollen for so long now that it has started to deform my joint.
Avatar f tn Ladies in the last 15 minutes I've gear a pop or crack sound and I believe it's from my belly because I am laying down. It almost sounds like a crack of nuckles or bones. It's really freaking me out cause I hear it all the time.
Avatar m tn My doctor came into the room, tested me for CT, and aftering determining I didn't have carpal tunnel told me I had RSI, wrote a presciption for Diclofenac and left. It took him all of five minutes and I didn't even get to finish telling him what was wrong. My finger joints are stiff sometimes, from typing and my wrist is tight/stiff. When I flex, I can feel a numb pain (not numbness as in can't feel) move along the back of my hand, in the pattern of my veins.
Avatar f tn I have the complete ability to make my itchy finger joints in the morning appear or disappear depending on what I ate the day before! I HATE to wake up with my finger joints itching horribly until bubbles appear and some water leaks out, UGH!, but occasionally I stray from my health food diet.

Avatar m tn Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem that I have been dealing with for some time. Everytime I extend my legs I hear a pop sound from both my hip area as well as my from my knees. It sounds like my hip and my knees are popping or snapping with every movement that I make.
Avatar f tn I have a pain in my knees sometimes , but frequent pain in legs below knees and finger joints in feets. Iweigs 67kg's.
Avatar f tn The joints that are commonly effected are the hips, knees, ankles, elbows and wrists, less commonly my finger joints. I am not normally sore when I wake up and my joints seem to randomly act up thoughout the day, movement does not help the pain, it worsens it. There is no visual inflammation, they are not red, not hot to the touch but they do seem to react to inflammatory foods and pressure drops(rain).
Avatar m tn I'm 28 and I have joint pain in my finger joints and I feel it in my wrists sometimes too. And in the digits of my feet (I think). I have no RF in my blood and the doctor said just take Ibuprofen. I am slightly over weight because of bulimia. I've had gluten sensitivity problems (makes me sluggish and hungry). AND labyrinthitus in the past months. No thyroid problems. Not diabetic. Feeling it might be Fibromyalgia ? I'm lost.
Avatar f tn They last for a few weeks and then resolve only to pop up somewhere else. They are mostly on the finger joints but sometimes elsewhere on the fingers and today I even have one on the palm of my hand. They are about the size of a pencil eraser, are raised and red. They do not itch but hurt to touch. What are they? I have pictures but cant figure out how to post them.

Avatar n tn I used to eat a lot of salt, but when my elbows and finger joints started to hurt, I gave it up almost completely. And of course, I had to use Steplex joint pain cream. It's inexpensive, but it helps well.
Avatar m tn For a week now I feel pain in my joints. It started last week on my ring finger. I thought it was normal cause I have the habit of cracking my knuckles. In the following days more finger started giving the same pain. A week later, and i feel my wrists, elbow and knees. I don't know how to describe the pain...it's pretty mild and is not constant. The pain is there for a maximum of 20 seconds before fading away. the pain does not occur all at once in every place.
6754739 tn?1392542954 I experienced popping sounds and my doctor told me that it was the baby's joints popping (and yes you can hear it from the outside)and now that he is born, his joints pop and it sounds exactly how it did when he was in the tummy. As for the pain, it sounds normal to me. I also experienced it and the doctor informed me that your hips are getting bigger so it's putting pressure on your back as well as the front of your hips.
