I was in excruciating pain for a few hours, but I did not go to the ER. Instead, I iced my hand and took aspirin for a few days and tried to lay off my "sprain". I never splinted my hand. A few weeks later I started using my hand to open doors, play guitar, etc, with still minor pain. It has been two months now and my pointer finger still hurts a little when I play guitar or press my bike brake.
The index finger is the worst, being numb during most of the day. The middle finger, ring finger and thumb also have burns. All fingers are dexterous, I can feel pressure when applied and nerves seem ok. The index finger is burned on the area near the nail bed including the nail itself, the burn is isolated to the right side of the nail and finger. My question being what will a Doctor do to ease my pain and help the healing process?
On the 6th day, the throat slight burning was back again, accompanied by moderate/slight (but definitely noticeable) pain on the left side of neck, hard to say where exactly, but close to below the left ear by approx 2 fingerswidth and suddenly i noticed a pinkish patch (size of a finger tip or a bit more) on the back of the hand that i inserted the finger in her vagina.
t find anything but did think I had carpal tunnel and the nerve test for that is what started me on the path to a MS diagnosis. The last month my finger pain has really gotten bad and has now started in on my right hand too - and that started with a bout of SHARP pain in the pinky finger joint but is now in the middle, ring, pinky on that hand too - still worse on the left. what gives?

I live in Michigan so when the cold came around in November, my right hand has started doing something strange. My right pointer finger now turns white and goes numb whenever I step outside. Now you may think I just need to wear gloves, the thing is that this occurs with even holding a cold class. My friends call me ET because it's so white it almost glows.

i thought it was just a jam. now it still hurts but only if i stretch it or movie alot. it is my right middle finger and it hurts around the knuckle. it hurts alittle to the right and to the left of the knuckle when i push down on it also. but there is absolutely no swelling at all. and also no difference in color or size hen my other middle finger. i was wondering whats wrong with it, and if i should do anything about it.
The finger gets very tender. Unfortunately, since I was diagnosed with MRSA last year in that same finger, I assumed each recurrence was MRSA. MRSA infections need to be drained to get better. So I was playing doctor at home and cutting the blisters open and draining them. And that is exactly what you don't do with herpes blisters. Luckily, I have been keeping them covered since MRSA is also something you don't want to be spreading.
I've been experiencing numb fingertips on my right hand (middle ring and little finger). It pops up whenever I go from my car to my house - office to my car, that kind of thing. Literally from half way down to the fingertips they go absolutely bloodless and numb. No tingling or warning just sudden cold. I have a friend in Virginia who had the exact trouble in the knuckle of her middle finger. She did'nt cut it open, but she soaked it in warm salt water, advice she'd gotten from an elderly woman at her church. I am a 21 year old female with no prior skin ailments with the exception of some mild teenage acne. approximately one month ago i noticed the skin on my left index finger appreared very dry so i began treating it with cuticle oil and heavy moisturizures. This is due to me constantly hitting hard surfaces. i have no pain in that particular finger or knuckle or any part of the hand but i cant fully raise my right ring finger. It gets to about half way and i cannot raise it anymore unless i force it up with my other hand. Apart from that i have full use of my right hand and no pain in or around the knuckle or finger. Any ideas whats wrong??
Ring finger has two bumps on the underside, middle of finger, light red tinge. Top of hand, middle of reverse palm, one swollen red spot. Pain on pressure only. Urgent Care PA detected murmur. No fever after nine days. Amoxicillin for ten days. Nine years ago I had bacterial endocarditis from dentist, left me in wheelchair, amnesia and OIC. Will amoxicillin really help kill any infection or is an Echo, cardiologists and fright in my future?
