climbing, tug-of-war, and wrestling. I lift weights frequently, but that has never set it off; I can do set after set of pull-ups with no problem, but the second I start climbing a rope the pain appears. (It would seem there's something specific about intense isometric pulling —especially overhead pulling — that sets it off.
