Hi i have been suffering from weak finger nails all my life and lately i decided to go to a nail technician to apply gel nails in order to have more support for my original nails.. However, after that the gel nails fell off my original nails became chipped off, very weak and worst than before the gel nails. Any suggestion please? Any products that can make my nails better?

I was wondering about nail cutting with regards to the quick. My dogs nails have grown quite long and the quicks as well so we have been told be our groomer. How can we get the quicks to recede? Also, how can we tell when we are getting close to the quick? I have heard that once you see white your have to stop but my dogs nails are black and as soon as they are cut even a little we can see white. Does anybody have any advice on this matter?
I have multiple pigmetenrd lines on almost all my nails. The middle finger lines are thicker and blurred, and the 2 toes, 2 little toes and index finger have thicker pigmentation than other nails. I biopsed a nail with not as much pigmentation as the ones mentioned above (my ring finger nail) .It was clear , Im 16 snd i had these from childhood (dont remember when they appeared). im also darlk skinned. Is there a need for a biopsy to check the blurred and wider pigmented nail?

I have a habit of picking the teeth with finger nails, I did the picking with the very nail several minutes(or even longer) after the inserting, and the pick also led to bleeding of my gums. I remembered I did a simple wash my fingers with tap water after the inserting.

Well he could be scratching you with his finger nails but since it's your first time maybe it's your hymen breaking. Other than that I'm not sure so if it's neither his nails or your hymen if it continues go to the doctor.
I did not notice much, same white substance may have gone under my finger nails. My fingers donot have cuts. Then I have washed my hands, not cleaning the finger nails specifically.
Then I have taken my food using the same fingers- I suspect some white thick substance which might have remained in the nails must have gone into my stomuch.

I burned my finger 3 weeks ago with hot melted sugar. Some fell on my finger nails as well. The skin under my nail has turned hard and a bit yellowish color. The surrounding of my nail has turned hard as well. The burn hasnt cured yet. Im worried since its already been about 3 weeks and even though the burn seems to have dried out, it still hasnt fallen apart. Also worried about my hard skin under my nails..Your advice is much appreciated. Thank you very much!
