Hi i have been suffering from weak finger nails all my life and lately i decided to go to a nail technician to apply gel nails in order to have more support for my original nails.. However, after that the gel nails fell off my original nails became chipped off, very weak and worst than before the gel nails. Any suggestion please? Any products that can make my nails better?
I have multiple pigmetenrd lines on almost all my nails. The middle finger lines are thicker and blurred, and the 2 toes, 2 little toes and index finger have thicker pigmentation than other nails. I biopsed a nail with not as much pigmentation as the ones mentioned above (my ring finger nail) .It was clear , Im 16 snd i had these from childhood (dont remember when they appeared). im also darlk skinned. Is there a need for a biopsy to check the blurred and wider pigmented nail?

I was noticing my nails that there is some changes in them, i search the web and i found similar photos of mine ,
They name it pitting finger nail disease as if there is a disease hiden in me and my nails are giving me sort of notifications :( i would appreciate if any help can be given , i googled too much and i am lost and fraightened,

I was out with my kids today and noticed that they have white finger nails. I know that nails are an indication of health. They are 6 and 4. Well he could be scratching you with his finger nails but since it's your first time maybe it's your hymen breaking. Other than that I'm not sure so if it's neither his nails or your hymen if it continues go to the doctor.
I did not notice much, same white substance may have gone under my finger nails. My fingers donot have cuts. Then I have washed my hands, not cleaning the finger nails specifically.
Then I have taken my food using the same fingers- I suspect some white thick substance which might have remained in the nails must have gone into my stomuch.

I burned my finger 3 weeks ago with hot melted sugar. Some fell on my finger nails as well. The skin under my nail has turned hard and a bit yellowish color. The surrounding of my nail has turned hard as well. The burn hasnt cured yet. Im worried since its already been about 3 weeks and even though the burn seems to have dried out, it still hasnt fallen apart. Is there anything I can give my cat to knock her out so I'll be able to clip and cap her nails? She doesn't like to be held so as soon as she's picked up she freaks out. If this is your first dog, I would suggest going to the pet store/book store and getting a book on the general care and living, with a dog.
What you describe as a "french manicure", is normal for a dogs nails. The white/clear part is what is growing past his "finger"....the pink part, so to speak. That is the part that needs to be clipped, just as peoples nails do as they grow out.
But you have to be VERY careful not to accidentally clip the pink part....

I have a question regarding what my STD risk is. I am a gay male, and practice safe sex, but my mind has been racing regarding this event. I gave a man, who was a stranger, a hand job. He did the same to me and he also performed fellatio on me briefly but I read that the risk through receiving fellatio is practically 0 for HIV and therefore I am not worried about that. He did not ***, but my hand came in contact with his pre-ejaculatory fluid.
My fourth and fifth finger nail beds are an orange color with the nails a stained dark yellow. I have had my thyroid tested and conventional medicine states it falls within normal levels; although my T-3 is not converting to T-4 as it should....(or is it the other way around?). Drs do not recognize the nail problem and I have been unable to obtain even a trial on thryoid medication. Thyroidism runs in my family; I am battling weight gain and fatigue. Help!.
(I cut my nails two days before this incident and cut them too short and I can see a tiny amount of blood under my fingernail today, a day after the incident) I was fingering a girl and I noticed that my finger started stinging and I realized that I cut my nails too short and i did have a wound under the nail. If this girl was HIV+ is there a chance that I mightve been infected?
