I would like to please hear from anyone who has or is experiencing joint and muscle aches pre treatment. My joints fingers, knees, ankles, and muscles ache deeply, sometimes it's hard to be comfortable even to sleep. I explained this to the doc and he did some blood test to determine arthritis? That was weeks ago and he's not been very helpful. Any info or remedies would be greatly appreciated.

I have red bumps on the joints of most of my fingers, sometimes they come and go but they are there more then not. They are extremely itchy but hurt when I itch them and make my joints stiff. I've had them for about 3 years last year the doctor prescibed some cortizone cream saying it may be a skin condition but it did nothing. They are both on the sides of my fingers and on top.

I have been experiencing what sounds like the exact same symptoms, except have not had bumps on the knees. My symptoms have been limited to the finger joints, elbows, and occasionally joints on my toes. Have periodically experienced breakouts 2-3 times a year since I was about 16 (am 30 now). During my last outbreak, which occurred about one month ago, I went to the doctor and had a biopsy. Tests were inconclusive.

For at least a year now, I have these instances where a spot on my left index finger (at the joint near the tip of my finger) starts to itch. It itches for up to a couple of weeks, and then it stops for a few weeks, only to start again. It's only this spot, and always this spot. There's no rash (only redness because I scratch it) and no blisters, but while this is going on the skin on this spot feels very dry, no matter how much lotion I use. Any advice? Thanks!

I didn't notice the rash like area until after one particularly maddening itching session when I noticed blood on my finger tips after scratching. Since then it has gotten a little larger and more of an oblong shape about the size of a silver dollar. The area has a reddish color to it and feels rough, though it doesn't look rough at all. I think this is just due to the scratching damaging my skin.

I am wondering if anyone also out there who has hashi/hypo and have been taking medicine for quite some time but still have fatigue/muscles and joint pain . Specially muscles and joint pain in fingers/ache all over the place. This is really killing me i am getting so frustrated day by day i can't explain.

At bad times I have had them all day but mostly am clear during the day (when I visit the doctors) then the come again at night time. The joint pain is terrible and I have random swollen fingers which are useless when swollen. I am 35 but seem older than my granny just now! I have had this for 2 months and am a little better now.

I HATE to wake up with my finger joints itching horribly until bubbles appear and some water leaks out, UGH!, but occasionally I stray from my health food diet.

I too have had rashes on my joints for years. I have mentioned it to doctors at times and they never have any idea. I guess that is usually what happens to me when I go to the doctor, I am always a mystery. I get bumps on my knuckles, elbows and sometimes my knees or wrists. It have just learned to live with it and generally doesn't bother me to much but I have always wondered why just my joints. Let me know if you ever find anything out.

Doctor gave antifugus drug, found no use, then Doctor changed to Hydrocotizon, Fluocinonide, trifluocinonide. it reduced pain and itchinging, But 3 months passed. I noticed that a small round flatty browth on my finger near joint, if messed with it, it turned reddish for quite some time, otherwise it is normal skin color and feel, did not itch, did not ache. more like a calous, but is round, a very flatty bump, or just flat, but has wrinkles around the round thing. dont know how long it is there. Can it be a cancer? bone spur? or flesh cell over growth?

Recently my joints on my right fingers just the 2-5th fingers at the proximal interphalangeal joints were swollen. They stayed swollen for about 3 weeks now and they are now just going down. When I would hit my fingers by mistake they would hurt so bad. The throbbing pain was undescribable. A few of my fingers look like they have little black dots on them. When they are yellow they can be a bit painful if bumped. They itch and sometimes the skin peels. Hi, I get this itching on my arms, its not constant it seems to come and go and the only relief I get from it is using moisturiser on it. After that it'll go for a few hours. When I get it, it is usually accompanied by a few red spots, but when I looked after the itching goes there's nothing there. Hello.. I itch every evening around dark and the itch is only around joints like my wrist,elbows,and especially the top of my hands and between my fingers... And everytime I scratch any of these area I welt up in thoes areas immediately after scratching.. I just take benadryl to stop the itch.. Any idea wat this can be and wat I need to do for it??

It's itchy even when the rash isn't there, also my joints on my hands and feet were inflamed and ached. About 6 weeks ago, I sustained a laceration to the skin above the top joint of my middle finger. The laceration was about half an inch and required 7 stitches. i bagan takin advils a few days ago to help mask the pain, i had an hiv test hfter 10 days and am waiting on my results i have not had the flu like symptoms yet but i am still in the phase where that could be happening. im so scared and nervous the joint pain in the wrist, hands, toes, fingers and ankles especially is so unusual beacuse ive never experienced anything like it before, i have also had loose stoole this whole time.
